As any MST3k fan can see, HHH (sing with me) "Tried to kill it with a forklift... Ole!"
Was it just me, or was the best part of RAW Snow's staringdown of Nowinski after the Dreamer fight.

| #3 Posted on 15.10.02 0021.11 | That's true--Victoria is quite attractive. She's like a pretty Chyna--although I hope she doesn't turn out like her in any other regard (save perhaps a Playboy spread, natch). On a related note, my did I like that photo of her on OO about a week ago. :)

Finally, someone with the good taste to make the wrestling-MiSTing connection! It's a pity Mike/Joel and the 'Bots never got to rip into one of Hogan's "classics" ... you might think that those make fun of themselves, but anyone that's never seen MST3K can't understand just how much funnier they can make a flick ...

The best (serious) part of Raw was Al Snow's staring down of Nowinski after the Dreamer fight. It was not just you.
The best funny part of Raw was the forklift going by in the background. | tomvejada

| #7 Posted on 16.10.02 1748.05 | I was SO hoping for an upset, but it doesn't look like it'll happen now, if ever. Poor Rob. He never gets taken seriously anywhere. It's like it doesn't matter how over he is ANYWHERE (ECW, WWE), he'll never be given a chance to run with the ball and that's really sad. He could be a world champion by now if it wasn't for guys like Triple H holding him down.
Maybe he should move on to Smackdown and hope Paul Heyman can convince everyone to give the man a REAL main event push.
Then again, the RVD/Brock program's been done to death.
Damn...Rob's screwed, isn't he?

| #8 Posted on 16.10.02 1919.52 | Maybe they can just cycle them in and out. When every match has been done to death over on Smackdown, they can trade one of the new stars to RAW for some of the languishing ones to come to SMACKDOWN! So eventually Benoit and Edge might switch to let Booker T and RVD have a chance to shine.
-Jag
And then when Benoit and Edge's career's are back down the shitter, they can be traded back for someone who hasn't been held down by HHH recently.
ADDED -> Of course, I do have to say that I feel like a silly uber-smark for that one line "...held down by HHH" But he's just been pissing me off so much lately!
(edited by Jaguar on 16.10.02 2021)
With poison running through your veins, and death marching solemnly towards you, heroic acts become more of a necessity as you see your time dwindling.
Vanquishing your enemies, making amends to those you have wronged, and leaving words of love and kindness for those around you become second nature as your own mortality looms
However, true strength lies not in these last desperate acts, but in the actions of one who has to get out of bed the next day and face the consequences of doing that which you believe is right. |
