Does anyone know where I can find a transcript of Russo's "shoot" on Hogan from the last Bash at the Beach?

was it a shoot? *grin*
and now totally going for the conspiracy deal:
Don't you think in his own words Russo calls Hogan a poison? The same thing Vinnie Mac is calling him now.
Someone who can destroy a company with his backstage politics..
Think we will see Russo in the wwf soon?

Just kidding with the above..please don't take it seriously.
Did he get away with all that stuff on tv? Geez..even for a PPV it sounds kinda harsh. Did they try to bleep him?

i think he just thought "fuck the bullshit, i'm telling that prick what's what". i don't think the transcript was everything he said. he said something when he and jarret came out for the first title match that night and hogan responded with something like "it's bullshit like this that is ruining this company".

i didn't see the show, but apparently jj didn't look at hogan once when he went to the ring and laid down. it kinda shows hogan's colors that he would pin jeff under such circumstances. imo, at least.

ps: yeah, he got away with it. i don't remember how long after that he was in charge, but jarrett and book traded the belt a couple times. i'm just assuming russo was in charge when jarrett was champ though.

pps: found it at the smarks, here's what went down according to the comic book guy:

- WCW World title match: Jeff Jarrett v. Hulk Hogan. Vince Russo joins us at ringside. Jarrett immediately lies down at Russo’s behest, as Russo tosses the belt to Hogan and walks away. Hogan grabs the mike and says "this is why the company’s in the state it’s in…because of bullshit like this!" and pins Jarrett with one foot to win the title. DUD Tony says "Swerve", so it must be a work, because SST. This is, of course, the same deal as Halloween Havoc, which failed to set the wrestling world on fire, either.

Nope, Jarrett wouldn't take a look at Hogan, and when he layed down, he rolled out of the ring and when Hogan was calling for him to look, Jarrett never flinched and just walked to the back.

I don't know what happened that night but it was certainly interesting to watch.

I got the tape. I actually watched it few weeks ago. Since day 1 I have thought it was 100% shoot.

The look on Hogans face tells it all. You have to remember Hogan wasnt on TV leading up to the PPV. It was all Jarret cutin promos about how he's gonna make all the Hulkamaniacs cry (kinda old-school). Hogan comes into the ring ready to rock, all animated playin to the crowd. Then Jarret comes out w/ Russo, they both looked stone-faced. Normaly Jarret would interact w/ the crowd do the "Choosen One" thing so on so forth. But this time Jarret just walks around the ring then lays down. (which is ironic since hOgan did the same thing to Sting...beleive in karma now dont'cha)

Hogans face just sunk, Like somebody stole his body oil When he figured out what the deal was he made the cover then grabbed the mike and said somethin to the effect "This is why this company is in the Shi**er, Russo!".

I look at it sort of like the Montreal screwjob, in that employee does not want to do what the boss says. So for the betterment of the company (or what was left) Hogan got screwed. Mabey Russo and Jarret knew what was gonna happen. But Hogan had no clue IMO

I think they had one match after that, then russo comes back out and shoots all over Hogan. Telling the crowd about Hogans "creative control" and how hell never be seen in WCW as long as he's around.

In a backstage interview you can see Hogan in the background walking out w/ his kids. One of them was holding the "new" WCW belt. Of course, they have an improptu match w/ Jarret and Booker (which is what I think Russo wanted all along) and they break out the old (and much shinyer)WCW belt, w/ the bent top.

Most importantly Booker won. Can you Dig it

Yeah, I rarely see copies on Ebay, and when I do they are NOT cheap.

I borrowed my friend's copy following the show, and I guess I never got around to returning it. That, or he just doesn't want it back.

I don't watch that show a whole lot, as most of it blows (and on the same tape is the HORRID Great American Bash card.....) The shoot is interesting, but not worth the price of admission really.

If you can find a copy for under $15, and you're one of those "gotta have 'em all" kind of collectors, then by all means jump on it. Any more than that, and you're probably wasting your money.

There's GOTTA be a video floating around on the net SOMEwhere....Morpheus? WinMX? I'd check but my silly work firewall doesn't let either of them work.

"...Hogan in the background walking out w/ his kids. One of them was holding the "new" WCW belt"

Hmmm. Maybe when the long talked about split occurs this could be factored in some how to seperate the championships back into two. Hogan could still claim to be the champion since he pinned Jarrett and was never beaten for the title. He could then bring out *his* WCW title belt.

Then again it's probably a saga that they (especially Hogan) don't want to revisit.

man, now i gotta track down a copy somewhere. i want to see hogan and jarrett. i wish the internet would stop spending my tax refund.

i have a question, though - when booker won the title later that night, he got the shinier belt with the bent top. the belt they're using in the wwf isn't bent at. i'm going to have to check my tape of the last nitro to see what one he got from steiner.

what the hell happened to that belt?

Does a firewall cause you to disconnect all the time? This may be why searches almost never work for me.

The firewall doesn't allow me to connect at all, and since I have a crappy-ass 56K connection at home, it's really not worth the bother for me to search for it. Some day....a fast connection will be mine. Oh yes......it will be mine.

Think about this for a second...

wannabe wrestling personality Vince Russo goes from video store guy to sheet writer to wrestling radio guy to WWF magazine guy to being Vic Venom on tv to Head Writer to creator of Crash TV to WCW Booker to WCW champion, shaves Ric Flair's head AND manages to toss Hogan out of WCW

Sure he's selling cds now, but DAMN he lived the life every internet personality dreams of

It was Hogan's last appearance for one of the big 3 though, wasn't it? If so it's too bad the WWF is bringing him back. What a great way for someone like him to go out.
