Undertaker's new Wrestlemania role is to stop anyone else from getting close to his winning streak, starting with 2-0 Shane McMahon

George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.

So now we've got...
* HHH vs. Reigns
* Charlotte vs. Sasha and/or Becky
* Lesnar vs. Ambrose
* Undertaker vs. Shane??? (I have half a mind that Shane is still a placeholder for Cena if he can get healthy enough.)

Just tossing out ideas here, but how about:
* Owens vs. Styles for the IC title
* New Day vs. Rusev/Del Rio/Sheamus
* Kalisto vs. new singles wrestler Ryback for the US title
* Jericho revives "his idea" of the classic six-man MITB match at Mania and it's a field of Jericho and five former MITB winners: Y2J, Van Dam, Kane, Miz, Ziggler, Swagger
* Fatal four-way for the tag titles with the Dudleys, Usos, Sin Cara/proxy partner Neville, Golden Truth (the New Day loses the belts in the next couple of weeks thanks to League-ference)
* Andre memorial battle royal for the other guys
* Bertha Faye memorial battle royal for other Divas

I'm still quasi-convinced they're going to run Owens v. Sami Zayn after their Rumble tease.

I would like Owens/Styles but I think Jericho is eventually going to do a heel turn on Styles to set up another match. Which would leave Owens for Zayn or some kind of multi-madness.

That was me, back on 11/11, right when we found out Rollins got hurt. So, let's see if I can do one right now for the eventual thread I hope will be called Rumored WrestleMania Card Rumors: A Supercard Headlined By Dean (...Douglas at an ECW revival show the night before WrestleMania).

"Pop, I don't get it either, Pop, I thought for sure Roman beating the entire Bullet McMahon Club culminating with a match where a humbled, awed Nakamura gives Roman his Michael Jackson jacket would seal the deal and make this Reigns/Cena match a sure thing, pop. But...if not Roman, then who, Pop? I mean, I'm the only guy in the company with (almost/equally) as many reigns as Cena, Pop. It's not like we can book a match where I step in to stop Cena from (tying/breaking) my idol Ric Flair's record and in the process (coming within one of/tying/breaking) Flair's record myself on the greatest stage of them all, right Pop? Like, some kind of huge "end of an era" match with me vs. Cena headlining WrestleMania at the new US Bank Stadium in Minnesota, where Flair grew up as a child, it - it could work, sure, pop, but we can't do that, can we?"

So what possible endgame could there be to UT-Shane? Someone(s) help Shane win to get rid of The Authority? Ziggler again, perhaps? Or Cena, leading to next year Cena-UT in his retirement match?

I'm still struggling with the logic of why UT would want to be McMahon's guy in this match. Just doesn't make sense.

It's the kind of thing that would be greatly aided by the streak still being intact. "Undertaker, I know you despise me, and I bet you want me gone. And, quite frankly, you could get rid of me easily. All you have to do is lose...at Wrestlemania."

Killing the Streak makes any match with Taker at Mania, just a match. It was a money printing match now its just there. I have no problem if Taker loses to Shane. Its just another match of old guys doing things they shouldn't. Sound familiar?

As of today, I'm convinced card will be thus (will likely change my mind in the next week or so)...

WHC Match - HHH w/Steph vs Reigns w/Rock - Austin as guest referee
HIAC for Control of RAW - Undertaker w/Vince vs Cena w/Shane
No DQ - Lesnar w/Heyman vs Ambrose
Bray vs ???? (I have no idea what they've got planned for Bray now. Orton? Sting? Goldberg?)
IC Title Ladder Match - Owens vs AJ vs Ziggler vs Miz vs Jericho vs ADR vs Neville
US Title - Kalisto vs Ryback
Divas Title - Charlotte vs Sasha vs Becky
Tag Team Titles - New Day vs LoN (Sheamus and Rusev) vs Dudleys vs Usos
Stardust vs Amell
Andre the Giant Battle Royal

Much like Punk/Lesnar in their no DQ match, I think it's incredibly stupid for Ambrose to agree to a street fight where Heyman can be there to just hang out when he's already facing insurmountable odds against Brock Lesnar. This kind of braindead lack of attention to characters seeing themselves in situations that could work against them is kind of a problem with their writing.

Ambrose should at least bring out someone to keep Heyman in line. Even if it's Santino.

I actually like the logic of AMbrose going with a Street Fight. Yes Heyman will be there, but consider that with even a tiny bit of being genre savvy, Ambrose would know in a straight up 1vs1 match against Brock he would get destroyed. The Street Fight levels the playing field, which presumably would counter Heyman's involvement.

That and it ties into Ambrose's hubris; he's crazy enough to actually believe he cannot be destroyed.

It wasn't the street fight part I had a problem with. It was the street fight where Brock gets to have an extra man at ringside to help him out every time Ambrose gets the advantage.

It was just one of the worst aspects of Punk/Lesnar where Punk didn't deal with the Heyman factor like he a rational human being would. Get some cops to escort you to ringside or something.

EDIT: At the absolute very least, Dean should be trying to lock Paul Heyman in one of those old school NWA cages that they'd put JJ Dillon in. This isn't something that makes the match more dramatic. It just makes guys like Dean and Punk look stupid.

I'm not sure how they are going to make Dean look like a real threat to Lesnar. Street fight always helps so some weapons can be used but going on what has happened lately he has no chance without doing something really out there and I've no idea what that could be. Rollins to return and help is the only thing I can think of but not sure that makes sense! Yes I know this is WWE so might well do to those with the notepad behind the scenes!

Cage, or handcuff him to George 'the Animal' Steel. Either would work. :-)
