After Rulon Gardner won the gold in Olympics a few years ago has been offered a deal with the WWF?

I was just curious because I heard today that he recently lost a toe to frost bite and wondered if this would hurt his career. I have never wrestled, nor do I know much about how to wrestle, but would losing a toe make it harder? Obviously if he lost his big toe, it would, but i'm talking one of his other toes.

I heard he turned down the WWF's offer after the olympics. As far as the toe goes it wouldn't hinder him that much I don't think. Kerry Von Erich wrestled for years with a club foot.

The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.

He did turn down the WWF. They offered him a big deal, but it was contingent on him going through HWA, and he didn't want to mess with it. He made about the same money doing endorsements.

And I think Von Erich had a prosthetic foot, but hardly anyone noticed.

Also, Jerry Jarrett's PPV fed is in talks with the toe, but only for a mid-card role.

He had a partial prosthetic, actually. But what do you mean hardly anyone noticed? He had the thing ripped off by Col. DeBeers on time, and word spread like wildfire...

Those people noticed.

I watched Terry Funk vs Ric Flair last night, the 'I Quit' match from 1989, and Gary Hart did a good job as manager for the Funker. Great stuff.
