After Rulon Gardner won the gold in Olympics a few years ago has been offered a deal with the WWF?
I was just curious because I heard today that he recently lost a toe to frost bite and wondered if this would hurt his career. I have never wrestled, nor do I know much about how to wrestle, but would losing a toe make it harder? Obviously if he lost his big toe, it would, but i'm talking one of his other toes.
Originally posted by TinManI heard he turned down the WWF's offer after the olympics. As far as the toe goes it wouldn't hinder him that much I don't think. Kerry Von Erich wrestled for years with a club foot.
He did turn down the WWF. They offered him a big deal, but it was contingent on him going through HWA, and he didn't want to mess with it. He made about the same money doing endorsements.
And I think Von Erich had a prosthetic foot, but hardly anyone noticed.
Also, Jerry Jarrett's PPV fed is in talks with the toe, but only for a mid-card role.
Within next year? With a crammed main event program? Nah, Rock had to work in a couple of years before his first title. How long has Cena been at this? He may be over, but I just can't see this guy getting there now.
