As an O's fan, it was hard to watch. This really is the Royals' year. I was cheering for them in that extra innings comeback against he A's. I love a good Cinderella/underdog story.

I could never root for the Giants (even against the Yankees), so...Go Royals!

Hard to believe that I was once as hardcore into baseball as I would become hardcore into wrestling. Nowadays I barely pay attention to it except for a passing interest when the Cardinals are in the playoffs.

They're out, so back off the radar. Go Royals, I guess.

I've said it once, I've said it a million times; winning a one game playoff makes you the hottest team in baseball by default. KC has a really good rotation and a lineup that just wants to win.

He did receive a standing ovation in 1990 when he returned to the Red Sox, only to become bitter because he was cut at the end of April after hitting an inside the park home run.
