I decided to take a few minutes and copy out the results of every Royal Rumble undercard match. The rules are simple; as long as it's not a Free For All bout or a non-wrestling match (i.e. a Super Posedown or Bikini Contest), then it counts.

By the stats, Shawn Michaels was the damn king of the Royal Rumble, just like Undertaker is the king of WrestleMania. HBK won two Rumbles and never lost a match at the PPV, which makes him the man.

Wow...you have a LOT of time on your hands. Cool stats though - maybe Michaels will show up at the Rumble with his Kliq buddies (oops, there I go starting rumours...)

Can I point out that both Jericho and The Rock are 2-0? But that BOTH of Rock's victories were rather screwy!

(Rock used the Brass Knuckles then put them on Shamrock (hmmm...), and then the taped I Quit.)

And Brutus Beefcake wrestled to a draw against The Genious?! What were the circumstances there? Must have been a blockbuster.

And Brutus Beefcake wrestled to a draw against The Genious?!

That was just after Hulk Hogan had been beaten by The Genius via countout. So they had to keep the heat of both Beefcake (who would go on to end Mr. Perfect's Perfect Streak) and Genius.

Voila. Draw.

Say, how long was Mr. Perfect's undefeated streak anyways? His first loss was to (I think) Beefcake at WM6, but how long did he go beforehand?

I'm pretty sure Hennig was jobbing to Hogan at house shows the winter of the 1990 Rumble, but before that I do think he was undefeated (by pinfall/submission, anyway). He came in during the autumn of 88, so the streak was around a year long. Starting with WM he jobbed every PPV until his injury leave.

Well, Jericho is one win away from tying HBK's record at Royal Rumbles.

I'd say clean-ish. He pinned Rock with a forklift, but it was a no-DQ match. So this raises the question...is it possible to have a "clean" win in a match where you're encouraged to fight dirty?
