| #21 Posted on 23.1.13 1555.14 | I see Ryback and Cena as the last two in the Rumble when they both eliminate somebody at the same time. They turn to face each other when they try to recapture the Warrior/Hogan face-off. Lights go out and Shield is attacking both Cena and Ryback when the lights come back on. Cena and Ryback fight them off and throw them out of the ring. Ryback is distracted long enough for Cena to then eliminate him.
Punk beats Rock via some sort of shenanigans, likely involving Maddox. Rock is an entrant to next month's Elimination Chamber match, where he then wins the belt to go on to face Cena at WM.
Del Rio beats Big Show. No cash in by Ziggler
Rhodes Scholars win tag belts from Hell No. They stretch this feud to WM where they have a beard/mustache vs beard/mask match where Rhodes Scholars lose and Cody/Sandow then have to shave their facial hair. I do not take credit for this awesome idea as I saw it posted on another board, but I love it and want it to happen now

Well, the paradox is that Punk only has his historic title reign so he'll be the strongest possible opponent for the Rock.
Rock is advertised to wrestle at Elimination Chamber, btw. I could see Rock vs. Punk the rematch clause or even Rock/Ryback/Sheamus/Orton vs. Punk/Shield based on Monday (which would save Punk from jobbing twice before Taker). It seems like a waste of the Rock's dream match quota to put him in a six-way Chamber match, unless the draw is "Rock in a Chamber for the first time in his career."
Wonder if Ziggler almost certainly going close-to-the-distance will be part of his babyface turn, or if it's justto make the match better and elevate him further. Also wonder if he'll be the 1990 Mr. Perfect to Cena's Hogan -- probably not if only 'cause everyone would be cheering for Dolph if it comes down to just those two. Actually, Cena is probably dumping Dolph either way and getting reacted to like a heel for it either way.
Sorry as usual for cluttering the thread with indirect predictions.

On last night's podcast, Bryan Alvarez (out of the blue) seemed to say both - Alberto Del Rio got the face turn instead of Ziggler (or at least they're not doing both around the same time and they already did ADR) - Dolph Ziggler vs Alberto Del Rio is in the current WM plans.
#FaceZiggler isn't until post-WM, at the earliest, if this is all right.

I want Rock and Punk in an Elimination Chamber where only five of the participants are known going in and the sixth Chamber is tinted so no one can see in before it opens. The other three guys in the match can be Cena, Big E. Langston - specifically sent in to soften up the eventual winner so Ziggler can cash in right after - and let's say Brad Maddox.
When the mystery Sixth Chamber finally does open during the match, it turns out it's all three Shield guys shoved in there together like Bill & Ted's phone booth. | Santa Sangre

Punk vs. The Rock, WWE Championship Match: This is such a tough call, because I feel it in my bones that the direction is Rock/Cena II for the title, but I can also see the Punk train rolling all the way to Wrestlemania, where Cena would finally end the reign of terror, once and for all. Either way, the end result is the same: Rise Above Hate, blah blah blah. But as for this match...huh...such a tough call. They wouldn't DARE do a repeat of the HiaC ending with Brad Maddox running interference (Why do he still have a refereeing license again?), but I will guess that Maddox-ference fails and Rock dispatches him quickly. Hmm...ok, I'll throw my shot out there and say Rock wins and ends the Punk reign, for good.
30-Man Royal Rumble Match: John Cena, undoubtedly. Cena wins after eliminating Ziggler, thus getting ANOTHER ONE over on poor Dolph.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show, Last Man Standing Match for the World Championship: If ever there was a chance for Dolph to cash in, it would be here...but that #1 spot that he drew has "go the distance" written all over it. So I'd say Del Rio retains here and Dolph's cash-in waits until the Chamber.
Team Hell No vs. Team Rhodes Scholars, WWE Tag Team Championship Match: This HAS to be the point where the Scholars finally win, right? I can't imagine they repeat the mistake they made with the Prime Time Losers. The Scholars finally win the titles here.
Antonio Cesaro vs. The Miz, United States Championship Match: Cesaro's running out of guys to feud with. I think he retains here.

ADR - Dolph has to get involved at some point soon, right?
Rumble - Cena
Rhodes Scholars - Even though they've kind of been an afterthought over the past week or so, I think graduation was the formal beginning of the end of Team Hell No.
Cesaro - Duh.
Also I predict Rock/Punk happens *after* the Rumble, which I'm usually not a fan of, but in this case I think it's OK.
P.S. - Just went to WWE.com to confirm if Kaitlyn has a match or not and saw this:

Leo Kruger needs a bit of a gimmick update. Less Truth Commission and a lot more Die Antwoord. Perhaps take his cues from DJ Hi-Tek?

Nah. He's a Ninja.

Other than that... hey, Adrian Neville gets to keep his old nickname! Xavier Woods looks like he's come a long way from TNA, Conor O'Brien and Corey Graves are probably the most main roster-ready guys there, Luke Harper needs more time to refine his character and learn how to get it across more, Bo Dallas needs a hot charisma infusion from his brother, and Oliver Grey was most definitely in this video.

2) Del Rio/Big Show (Last Man Standing for World Title) - Del Rio wins by Big Show accidentally knocking himself out with a chair off the ropes. But, he gets his senses back and KO's Del Rio. Ziggler comes out and wins the title.)
3) Royal Rumble - In my world, all talk will be about Ziggler possibly ending up with both belts by end of WM if he wins. Final Four of Cena, Ziggler, Cesaro, and Sheamus. Ends up Cena vs Ziggler, and Cena wins. However, Ziggler gets the respect from everyone for being in the entire match. How long will NXT winner be in the match: 5 minutes. Who will it be? Don't know.
4) Kane/Bryan vs Rhodes/Sandow (Tag Team Title Match) - Rhodes wins title for his team by Cross-Rhodes after miscommunication of Bryan/Kane. Friction really starts on the Kane/Bryan side.
5) Cesaro/Miz (Preshow US Title Match) - Cesaro by Neutralizer.

Everyone seems to be picking Cena to win the Rumble. I think the E will try and get one over on the fans thinking the "obvious choice" and not have Cena win it, but I can't figure out who would step into that role. I'm likely wrong, but I'll say a returning Undertaker.

Can I get points by predicting there will not be a Divas title defense on the card???
