Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson, ECW Championship: I could really see Christian losing here, which quite frankly, scares me. But I'll predict that he retains, as I don't think Zeke is ready in any way to hold the belt.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton, WWE Championship: Some sort of non-finish here with Sheamus retaining.

Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio, World Heavyweight Championship: Taker retains.

Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James, Women's Championship: James gets the win and the title here.

30-Man Royal Rumble: Really, quite a few choices here, but right now my guess is HBK, simply based on what they've set up for him thus far.

Everything geemoney said, except I think Zeke could have a cool reign as champ with Regal sort of living vicariously through him.

Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson, ECW Championship: I don't think Zeke's ready to hold a belt, either, but that hasn't stopped them from putting this belt on Swagger when he was really green or the big belt on Sheamus a couple of months in. Zeke wins and feuds with Christian for a bit before the draft finally puts Captain Charisma on a good show.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton, WWE Championship: Legacy interference backfires, leading to a Sheamus win. Legacy's disbanded the next night.

Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio, World Heavyweight Championship: UT wins by DQ after a Batista run-in, setting up a three-way next month.

Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James, Women's Championship: Beth's been way too pivotal to this storyline for her to sit this match out. Beth turns on Michelle, resulting in a Mickie win. Beth lays Mickie out afterwards.

30-Man Royal Rumble: It'd be too easy to assume it's Michaels. I'll guess Cena. Bonus prediction: We got ONE major surprise entrant (I could guess Kurt Angle or Jeff Hardy just to take a shot at TNA, but since it's not even necessary, I'll take the more logical guess and say Edge returns here.)

I wondered how long it'd take for someone to mention Sheamus in comparison to my comment about Zeke. Only two replies! Anyway, I'll just say that I think Swagger at the time, despite being new, and Sheamus, despite being new, had more going for them at the time than Zeke does right now. I don't really want to turn this into another "does Sheamus deserve the belt?" thread, so I'll end it there.

Christian, Sheamus, Taker, and Mickie will get the token title win of the evening.

Rumble will be interesting.. I see Edge returning, and Jeffrey also. The winner is wide open, as much as it has been in years (last year was good too in this regard). I'll go with Triple H, and HBK finding a way to get his match another way. They have telegraphed him winning too much right now.

Re: Zeke winning the title.. well, it's possible, but Christian has held the title for so long now that I expect them to make a bigger deal out of it when he does, but it IS possible they give Zeke the dominant big man push I suppose. If they wanna make Regal look like even more of a tool.

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

I'm holding off on a prediction for Undertaker/Rey until it's firmly established that's what we're actually getting. There's still time to make it a three-way with Batista, which would change my thinking.

Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James: I'm in the camp that believes that Mickie should go over to pay off the "Piggie" angle, complete with a Beth face turn. I don't actually have complete faith in them to actually do it, but I'll pick Mickie anyway.

Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson: Christian, because I find it hard to believe they'd book Zeke to the tertiary World title belt ahead of Regal after Regal came up short so many times. You can point at Sheamus all you like, but Zeke doesn't have politics working in his favor like he does (translation: he ain't workout buddies with Trips).

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton: Sheamus, with the storyline ripped off line-for-line from the WWF title match between Kurt Angle & Triple H in 2001 (Sheamus as Angle, Orton as Trips, and John Cena as Steve Austin). That leads to:

Royal Rumble: John Cena wins, keeping up the RR2001 synergy. I expect an Orton attack on Cena before he gets to the ring, Legacy double-teaming Cena once he's actually in the match, and Cena overcoming it all... after all, he said that he wouldn't lose another match until he got the title back from Sheamus, and that was true even with his unsuccessful rematch.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson: Christian Retains

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton: Orton wins with help from Legacy

Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio vs Batista: (I think he will be added to the match this friday): Batista wins when interference from HBK backfires. Batista new champ!

Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James: Mickie James wins

30-Man Royal Rumble: Ted Dibiase wins, setting up Dibiase vs Orton at Wrestlemania

Hmmm, I would hope the synergy would stop there, cause if it didn't then we'd get Cena/Orton 3 stages of hell. Which would be a fine match, but I don't think anyone wants another Cena/Orton match.

Anyway, predictions:

Taker
Sheamus
Mickie
Zeke
I'll go way out on a limb and say Kofi in the Rumble

Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson, ECW Championship: I could see Big Zeke getting the win, but I'm going to go with Christian to retain.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton, WWE Championship: No contest after multiple counts of interference.

Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio, World Heavyweight Championship: Undertaker wins clean

Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James, Women's Championship: For this storyline to work Mickie needs the win here, Beth will somehow help Mickie win, and then beat her up afterwards.

30-Man Royal Rumble: Have all 30 participants been named, or is there room for a few surprises? Either way I enjoy the Rumbles more since the brand split because there are always a few good options to win the rumble so it makes it more exciting. This year I will go with Shawn so him and Taker can have there rematch in the main event of Wrestlemania.

Rumble comes down to DX vs Jericho. Hornswoggle is your 2010 Royal Rumble winner, providing weeks of hilarity before he gets destroyed by Sheamus and Hunter becomes serious and leaves Hornswoggle's death bed in order to win the championship at Mania.

Cena's already lost a match, the threeway for the number one contendership. Granted he wasn't pinned, but if we're not counting that as a loss then I don't think being tossed out of the Rumble would count either. I think you're more likely to get some Cena/Batista conflagration to set up their interbrand match.

I think that storyline got dropped as soon as it started.

Christian, James, Taker, Sheamus.

HBK to win the Rumble and go after the Smackdown belt, although I doubt he'll win it. And I severely doubt Jeff Hardy is going to come back, although Edge would be cool.

I think I would rather see the long displaced Cena/Batista rematch, but with Cena/Sheamus is left dangling I could see that being resolved since it has a storyline already and HHH vs. heel Batista would also be a marquee interbrand match for both guys that could also be set up in the Rumble. Either way I'm sure we'll know during the Rumble. I think it comes down to Michaels tossing Hunter. That would be three straight years as Royal Rumble runner-rup for him though.

I think maybe Hunter wins the Rumble to go after Sheamus, with Michaels' pursuit of his shot at Taker being stretched out for one more month. HBK/UT for the belt is THE marquee match, so I tihnk they'll want to tantalise and tease that as much as possible.

ECW Championship: I also don't see Zeke having the credibility to be the champion yet; therefore I will predict Captain Charisma to retain the "silver gold".

WWE Championship: I can see Orton winning the title again but I also think the Sheamus and Cena feud is not over by a long shot. I will say Sheamus to retain but with Legacy having something to do with the outcome.

World Heavyweight Championship: Is Taker every going to drop the belt? Not yet. The Deadman retains.

Women's Championship: Michelle McCool has held the title for quite some time but Mickie gets the W and the belt and besting this feud.

30 Man Royal Rumble: This is open to a few people with Cena who can win to get the title back while there have been many hints that HBK could win the rumble and face the Undertaker in what was a WrestleMania classic. Who do I pick to win? I will pick Edge as a surprise entrant and winning the 2010 Royal Rumble.

As for the Rumble itself, I'll pick Cena to win. He holds off on picking which champion he'll pursue until after No Way Out, where Batista wins the world title in particularly heinous fashion. Cena is so disgusted by Batista's actions that he challenges him, thus setting up Cena/Batista, Undertaker/HBK, and Sheamus/HHH as the Wrestlemania main events.

This is the exact scenario I have in my head. I think Cena can bring out a better match out of Batista and HHH will move hell and high water to make sure the golden boy Sheamus looks good.

Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson:
--Christian retains

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton:
--Randy Orton wins, but by DQ - I expect to see a Legacy breakdown here.

Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio:
--Difficult to predict, and interestingly enough, the match I'm most interested in on the show. Both guys need time off for surgery...but I'm gonna go with Rey Mysterio. I could see Shawn Michaels cause Taker to lose.

Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James:
--Mickie James wins it...though it'd be fun to see a real knockout here. Could it happen? Who knows?

30-Man Royal Rumble:
--Crazy as this may sound, but I'm going to go with Jack Swagger. I think it could be fun, seeing him in the title picture. Plus, the entire "over the top rope challenge" has to be going somewhere, right?

Christian vs. Ezekiel Jackson, ECW Championship: Christian

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton, WWE Championship: I say Randy wins the match but not the tittle.

Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio, World Heavyweight Championship: Taker

Michelle McCool vs. Mickie James, Women's Championship: Mickie James

30-Man Royal Rumble: I want to say HBK I really do, but I got to go with Chris Jericho. I feel that he deserves the first big win of 2010.
