Ok ok, I know Royal Rumble is far off, but I'm already pretty excited at it, and mean lets look at what kind of field they can have. First of all let me say that if we are allowed to believe Lesnar as a legit undisputed Champion, then to me that makes atleast Edge, Benoit, and RVD legit contenders too. So first....
The Contenders: Brock, The Rock (if he's around, I don't know how long shooting for moves takes), Undertaker, Kane, Jericho, HHH, Angle, Benoit, Edge, RVD, Flair (I know he's over the hill but they'll try and make him look like a contender), Big Show (if he gets pushed as a monster now), Booker T
Then you got some long shots: Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero
Then you got some guys who may or may not be around then: HBK, Steiner, Goldberg, Stone Cold??
Those guys listed above (19 of them) takes up over half the field. Over half the field as contenders??
Then even though they don't have a shot to win you can have Lance, Test, Christian, Hurricane, Knoble, Goldust, Cena, Batista, Rhyno, D-Lo, Raven to fill out the rest of the field. That's a pretty dang good list of Battle Royal participants.
Plus, even if one wrestler only eliminated 3 or 4 people, then there's a very good chance that they eliminate someone really important.
I just hope they have some balls and let a dark horse like Edge or Mysterio win it, they can always lose the Wrestlemania spot at the ppv between the two.
Thinking long-term, they seem to be REALLY wanted Angle vs Brock at Wrestlemania, so Angle already seems like a safe bet.
If the book was mine: Brock keeps a MONSTER heel run going. During this time, Angle and Eddy and allies. At the rumble, the final two are Eddy and Angle. Eddy CHEAST TO WIN and actually WINS THE ROYAL RUMBLE. Next PPV, Angle vs Eddy for the number one spot. Angle wins, turning face.
Originally posted by Freeway420And after that, Benoit makes fun of Eddy for being a little bitch and LOSING to Angle when he (Benoit) had beaten him so many times. So, Eddy & Benoit face off at WrestleMania!
That's what I wanna see, at least.
And then...I wake up.
Damnit! That was a good dream!
I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok, I work all night and I sleep all day!
