Toronto certainly played like they had a Game 7 hangover last night.......the Avs were suffering the same against the Sharks the day before.......Detroit looks good......can't wait to see which glass slipper fits Cinderella's foot down in NASCAR Land

---------- Whatcha Gonna Do??? ---------- "Thank you - thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for your irrelevant opinion..." ---------- And the real wonder of the world is that we don't jump too ---------- So there's no simple explanation for anything important any of us do and yea the human tragedy consists in the necessity of living with the consequences under pressure, under pressure. ----------
The Blues did a good job of coming back today but it was not enough. It looks like Detroit will finish this series off in 5. Detroit is just playing great hockey right now.
This entire thing we're involved with called the world is an opportunity to exhibit how exciting alienation can be. Life is a matter of a miracle that is collected over time by moments flabbergasted to be in each others' presence. The world is an exam, to see if we can rise into the direct experiences. Our eyesight is here as a test, to see if we can see beyond it. Matter is here as a test for our curiosity. Doubt is here as an exam for our vitality.
even as a wings fan, i can't say the wings have played much better than the blues. johnson has made some huge saves and has looked very good (except his gift goal to yzerman). st. louis has had better chances to score, but it seems they've hit the post or shot just wide of the net. we'll see if things change in the next two games.
i just read hartley's comments about how darryl sutter will have a tough decision whether to start nabokov. then sutter responds by saying he appreciates hartley making some of the decisions for his coaching staff which will then lessen his burden. i realize hartley is trying to shake nabokov's confidence, but man i sure hope it backfires and fires the sharks up.

Marge: Mr. Scorpio, this house is almost too good for us. I keep expecting to get the bums rush.
Scorpio: We don't have bums in our town, Marge, and if we did, they wouldn't rush, they'd be allowed to go at their own pace.
