TMZ is reporting the former Welcome Back Kotter star has passed away at 63 years old. One of my favorite shows when I was a kid.

I was stunned when hearing of his death, but I didn't realize he was 63. I thought he was much younger for some reason. I also had no idea he was gay either.

It wasn't Edie Falco's voice. I believe they said it was some generic actress on the other end who had a similar voice to Carm's. My friend originally thought it was Annabella Sciorra, but it was confirmed that it wasn't her either.
