Here's the first list I could find Click Here (community.livejournal.com). I'm happy to see The Strokes get some love, because it really was a complete album at a time when there really wasn't much out there. I think the wrong Queens of the Stone Age and Johnny Cash album made the list.

Fuck forgot my logo ... http://www.theprogressivereport.com/Images/rolling_stone_logo.jpg

You are forgiven for not linking to RS' version (rollingstone.com) where they take the UNBELIEVABLE stand that you'll want to click through FORTY-FUCKING-FOUR FUCKING PAGES to see the entire list. Gee-ZUS.

I'm tempted to repost the entire list here to save even ONE more click but they did it first and I'm super lazy while on vacation.

(Your logo is not going to look like ANYTHING squozen down to 15 pixels high, so I'm not going to fix it )

one for me too - good old number 68 - U2 How to dismantle and Atomic Bomb

How dare you not have any Springsteen, Aaron?

I thought we were friends.

Here's mine:

93. Unearthed, Johnny Cash
75. Neon Bible, Arcade Fire
68. How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2
62. American III: Solitary Man, Johnny Cash
43. Hot Fuss, The Killers
24. Magic, Bruce Springsteen
15. The Rising, Bruce Springsteen
13. All That You Can't Leave Behind, U2
6. Funeral, Arcade Fire

I would probably have more, but with the advent of iTunes, I've done picking and choosing of songs rather than buy full albums.

Out of over 50 GB of music, I have THREE of the full albums:

70. The Woods, Sleater-Kinney
67. Vespertine, Björk
48. Dear Science, TV on the Radio

A few OTHER albums from a lot of the artists (The Streets, Black Keys, Cat Power, Manu Chao, Spoon), and a few scattered singles (The Hives, Green Day, Radiohead, Gnarls Barkley, Postal Service - maybe a couple more), but that's about it.

Y'know, Bono would probably come off as much less of a boring, pretentious fecker if he wrote an album called what you wrote

I own more than I thought I would.

84. The Eminem Show, Eminem
72. Franz Ferdinand, Franz Ferdinand
68. How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2
45. Graduation, Kanye West
40. Late Registration, Kanye West

10. The College Dropout, Kanye West
7. The Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem
1. Kid A, Radiohead

I really wasn't a fan of Kid A, but I don't feel strongly enough about anything released over the last ten years to really have an issue with it being #1.

I still don't get the attraction of Coldplay. Just some dreadful drivel.
