As bad as Sinclair might be, it seems like the alternative might have been no ROH. The current owners were obviously looking to get out, we don't know what other offers they might have had, but I don't think a ROH fan can begrudge them of getting the best deal they could get. Lesser ROH may still be better than no ROH.
The ROH TV show is supposed to be one hour Saturday nights (9-10 or 10-11) on most Sinclair markets. If there's network programming at that time, they'll be moved to Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
Meltzer said the first few months of TV tapings will be done as if none of the people watching know who anyone of the ROH wrestlers are and everywhere will be reintroduced. Which is seems a repeat of where they were back with HDNet. They goal is to build to a point where ROH running regularly in the markets where they air, some new places. The hope is they'd be able to syndicate the show to other markets down the line. But they have to do well for the Sinclair stations first.
Well, I'm only on chapter two myself but so far I like the book. It reminds me of Dynamite Kid's book for some reason. Was Arn Anderson's book really that bad? I'm debating whether to try to order it or not and I was wondering if it's really that bad.
