Associated Press LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has signed a contract to play with the Long Beach Jam of the American Basketball Association in an attempt to revive his career.
Rodman, 42, signed a contract Friday and will start practicing with the team after Christmas, said Steve Chase, president of the ABA first-year franchise. ___________________________________________________________
This should be interesting, to say the least. I may have to check out the Fresno Heatwave the next time Long Beach comes through. (Feb. 16th, if she makes it that far.)
Hey, I thought that THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER 'KING' WINS ONE. So where does Barnes get off calling the Cavs a non-championship-contender? Maybe the Heat will miss the playoffs, too.
