Short version: Azeem is not in this movie! Also, it barely qualifies as a Robin Hood movie. It's sort of a prequel, "beginning the legend". And yet, since I enjoy Crusades and British history, I liked it. Once I set aside the expectation of seeing a Robin Hood movie, I enjoyed what the movie actually was. Also, King John is AWESOME in the movie.
Agreed. Not what I expected at all, but perfectly great as far as I was concerned. I have a huge man crush on Russell Crowe though, so I am surely biased. A wonderful appearance by Max Von Sydow, and, as noted Prince/King John was indeed great. My one spoiler, and favorite line was from him

That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
A very good movie. The soon-to-be Queen of Keith loves Patton Oswalt in kind of a scary way, and loves to cook and watch the Food Network. This was pretty much the perfect movie for her. I liked it because it wasn't a kids movie.
