Looks like they'll show Chris Benoit's title win right before he joined WWF/E...
I do have to ask; how long will this DVD be? Will they be able to document everything that caused WCW's downfall, and how the hell will they be able to show the Filthy Animals without Rey...especially since they're not showing him on TV sans mask.

Lordy lordy...what have I done? Engagement? The horror!
Well, the WWE voice-over dude sounds legit to me, I think it's legit. It also looks like it's gonna be a cool DVD. Even if it's biased towards the WWE, I'm still curious to see what Vince himself and some of the former WCW people have to say about certain events that went on during the ratings war.
As far as Rey goes, I'm sure they'll just blur his face out during the Filthy Animals clips and not even get into the whole meaning/idea of the whole "Luchadore losing his mask" thing.
Let's hope this doesn't turn out to be a lengthier, glorified version of what we see on Confidential. If they can some how make the documentary even a tad true to reality and not "Wheel Chair Wrestling had a bunch of pedophile scumbags and Bret Hart caused their downfall. Also..Vince McMahon is God," than this could be good. I also hope the documentary is long, as in not 45 minutes. A DVD like this lives or dies by its length. I mean it's not like any of it would be new to us, so the more information they're able to cram in and the more comprehensive it is about that time period, the higher the entertainment value. Another key is for them to not be afraid to go in length on many of the important people involved with WCW *NOT* associated with the current WWE like Luger, Russo, Jarrett, Sting, etc. I briefly saw the clip and was surprised to see Ed Ferrera, but that was only because that incident epitomized how low a human being (and in their eyes, WCW) will go to take a shot at a competing pro friggin wrestling company.
The extras better be good. I'm thinking if this sells well which I feel it will, then this could lead to a more in-depth DVD set. I think the success of the Flair DVD (and to a lesser extent, HBKs', and soon, Foley) has changed WWE marketing's perception on running old material.
Personally, i hope they put on some of the most godawful matches in WCW history.
Booker T at Sturgis, Sids broken leg, Animals Return, dusts ass, Arquettes shit, Leno's shit, etc, just PACK this disk with that shit, and toss in a couple 4* Jericho/Malenko/Cruiser matches to show, even Y2J couldnt save WCW

Ya gotta put Tank v.s Big Al and "Judy Bagwell on a pole" match, just for the sheer hilarity of seeing Judy on a forklift.
That's a good idea- why not have a whole DISC of really bad matches? I'd buy it for the comedic value.

Will they show us anything we haven't already heard before? Will we learn anything new? Who's to say....but I'm certainly stoked.

What about Kidman vs. Shane Douglas in the Viagara on A Pole Match? Better yet; the Fingerpoke Of Doom?
Lordy lordy...what have I done? Engagement? The horror!
I would imagine the fingerpoke of doom would make an appearance as that was the same night Foley won the WWF title and WCW showed how idiotic it could actually be.

@ngry Wagner
I saw it fine on my Mac. Have you downloaded the latest version of Windows Media for your Mac? I'm running OSX (10.3) If you're still running an older OS, you may be out of luck (but, just in case, the link to the version of WM for older OSes is right in the middle of the page I linked to below).

Re: The Idiocy:
I thought that was when Tony Shiavone announced Foley's title win on Monday Nitro, when Raw was taped for that night.
I'd always thought the "Fingerpoke Of Doom" was a title match between Nash and Hogan, where the nWo Wolfpack and nWo Hollywood joined together again...or something like that.

The finger poke of doom was a "match" between Hogan and Nash that headlined the Nitro that ran up against Foley winning the title on Raw. Good ol' Skeeavone gave away the results for the Raw match and ended up having quite a few people switch over to see that instead of the Nitro main event. Being a WCW mark, it pains me to think that they would try and stoop that low.

I would like the BBC or Channel 4 to do aprogram about this and explain to Non-Wrestle fans just how low these two companies sank
That could be an interesting idea but sadly I'm not holding my breath.
Firstly, would Vince allow the footage to be used for a show unless he had a controlling hand in it? Especially if it's the full story? I'm thinking Beyond the Mat again here...you could say you see my BTM and raise me a Wrestling with Shadows but wasn't almost all of the footage used shot by them? Did they use any WWF footage? Screw it, I'll have to watch again and see...
Secondly, would a non-wrestling fan really be interested in the cheapshots, name-calling and defections? It may be a wonderful story but if they don't care for the subject matter...
Now if Power Slam did an article and gave it the space it would deserve (perhaps a year per issue - thinking along the lines as the Paragon did with the DVD), cut down on the massive pictures (to allow more text), they could tell the story well. Where's Fin's email?
Personally, I won't buy any video that blurs out the old WWF scratch logo and removes all references to the name of the company. I don't care anymore that they changed the company name, but nothing pisses me off more than altered archive footage.
Yeah -- but I meant, what makes the victim decide to hold himself straight up and not bend his legs? It's a position that's both unnatural and disadvantageous. --K
