Well, Hell in a Cell is in six weeks, so that window is probably why he took the surgery now, so he could make the PPV. Knowing Cena, by this weekend he'll have decided he's good to wrestle on Raw. The prototype is a machine that doesn't break.
So Cena will be back for HITC against Punk, but not for Over The Limit (which is on October 6, apparently). Maybe quickly bump Orton up to face Punk at that PPV?
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
But will Kaitlyn's ankle be healed up by then so that she can get her promised Divas Title match with Eve?
In all seriousness, it kind of has to be Cena in that Cell with Punk, injured arm or no. I spent 10 minutes perusing the roster on wwe.com and it is shockingly thin, with all the recent defections. The best case scenario should Cena not make the Cell match would be temporarily splitting up Team Friendship so that Daniel Bryan faces Punk in the Cell. Which I'd actually prefer, come to think of it.
@CMPunk
“@ZackRyder: @CMPunk She played me bro” I got your back.
John Cena isn't human when it comes to injuries. If someone chopped off his head, he'd be like Wolverine/Deadpool and just need his head placed back near his body and it will get put back together again.

Over The Limit was back in May. P. sure there's nothing between now & HITC.

That is because, they rely on Cena way too much to be their over babyface that isn't a comedy act. They still have Orton and Rey which are actually better options. If they wanted Cena out for Hell in a Cell, they would have done it last night. I fully expect him to be at Hell in a Cell.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.

This wins.
And yeah...who else is there for Punk to face atop the RAW roster? There's an increasing glut of mid-upper card heels who need their own opponents too (Miz, Cody, Sandow, Cesaro, Barrett)...
Is there any specific reason given as to why John has bone chips in his elbow?

I actually really dug the dynamic of Sandow vs Ryder. Didn't sound like the crowd was too into it, though.

My SOURCES reveal that a MASKED MAN will lay out Punk with RED MIST on RAW this week then take his mask off to reveal TAJIRI (in a second mask!) Tajiri/Punk at Hell In The Cell, all mist is legal!
