Wow, I knew his health was bad, but I didn't realize it was that bad.

Grew up on a Mac, but unfortunalty switched to PC due to school and work. He totally changed the computing market, and then did it again with the iPod and the iPhone.

Everyone has their full length obits up really fast. Once he stepped down from the CEO position in August, he and they probably knew it was it. It was amazing what he was able to accomplish just in his last few years even while battling cancer.

Never much used Apple products, but...

Jobs and Wox, circa 1975

Rest in peace, Mr Jobs

I admit that I don't care for Apple's products...but I was inspired by what he was able to accomplish as CEO.

RIP, Steve.

To steal from a tweet I saw this morning:
"RIP Steve Jobs. The closest we had to Tony Stark."

Amazing Visionary.

I may not always have agreed with him or the decisions that he made (there was a point where I hated him for killing the Apple ][), but I can say without a doubt that my life would have been different if he hadn't existed. I don't know that you can make a more powerful statement about another person; and there are millions and millions of people out there who can say the same.

The Mac I bought in 1997 changed the entire course of my life - no doubt about it.

On the lighter side, the Westboro Baptist Church has announced that they will protest Jobs' funeral - by tweeting it from an iPhone.

Stupid. There are currently 665 threads on this board tagged with the tombstone and you waited until THIS one to try that joke?

    Amazing Visionary.

That's overselling what he actually did (as opposed to what he oversaw and/or guided) a bit much, don't you think?

I've recently come into possession of a GPS sleeve for my iPaq 3630 (I believe that's the model number, I'll check when I get home). Only problem is no software was included. Soooo, anyone know of good, free (preferably)
