Synthesiser pioneer Moog dies

Even if you may not know what a Moog synthesizer is, I guarantee you've heard one. A true pioneer in the field of electronic music...

The one, and only, instrument I ever bought and learned (somewhat anyway...) to play was a Moog because it made such wonderful sounds on the majority of the records I owned. DEVO made me do.

This is sad news.

Check out the albums by "The Moog Cookbook"
They're all popular songs redone on the Moog. Trippy stuff I used to play in my DJ days.

I totally forgot about that album. Despite the high cheese factor, it is quite good - although it scary to think that even THOSE songs are now dated.

How the crap is Three Days Grace only #30 on the bottom 40? I just heard that song and the only thing that stopped me from smashing the radio under several boxes of files is that it wasn't my radio. Now I know why I didn't listen to WCCC.
