If there was a Mt. Rushmore of the great legends of Hollywood, Paul Newman would be included.

I am at a loss for words. He was my favorite actor and one of my personal idols (and I don't look up to that many folks in Hollywood).

It won't get any better than Paul Newman.

That pretty much sums up my feelings for him too. My favorite Newman movies were The Sting and Slapshot. I could watch those any day of the week.

RIP

I have never seen The Sting. Not even a second of it.
But, I've made up for it with my 100 or so viewings of SLAPSHOT.

Butch Cassidy. Nobody's Fool. A great, great man.

Funny, I just watched The Verdict early last week on the DVR...and will probably watch it again now as I just saw the news.

Dude made some damn fine salad dressing, too.

Many of my favorite movies starred Paul Newman. I just watched Nobody's Fool a couple weeks ago for the first time in years, and I forgot how great he was in that movie.

I'll second what BigDaddyLoco said.

They don't make stars like that anymore.

Rest in Peace.

This is true, but what really got me is how back and forth they are with how powerful he really is. One moment hes catching cop cars, the next it takes him half a dozen punches to take out a windshield.
