I keep thinking about Liam Neeson's character in Love Actually, and can't help but think how bitterly ironic life can be sometimes.
Apparently, she had no obvious injuries from the skiing accident until much later. Just a freak and terrible accident.

Reading an article this morning, I thought the same exact thing about Love, Actually - sad irony. The reports seemingly went from "she's going to be fine" to "brain-dead" in an instant...very sad. | The King of Keith

It is really sad, and I agree with everyone on the irony of the Love Actually coincidence. Let's hope that one day he finds his Claudia Schiffer.

Breitbart News says today that the first ambulance called to help Natasha Richardson after the fall that led to her death was turned away, presumably at her request, because at the time she showed no signs of injury. Another ambulance was called later but by then it was too late.
