Yet another jazz legend passes away.

BTW - if you're a fan of Alex Van Halen's double bass drum solo in the song "Hot for Teacher", you should probably thank Louie Bellson, as he was one of the lead "pioneers" of the double bass drum techniques.

From what I've read on the copy protection, there's a really simple workaround anyway...Just record the disc to an analog source (such as a good hi-fi VCR) and then dub it back. If you're making MP3's anyway, I don't think you'll notice much difference....
