I'm from the Woodstock, NY area, which is where Levon lived and has been a bit of a local hero for as long as I can remember. He did amazing things for the local music scene, and I have several friends from high school who he has worked with and helped. For the past few days my Facebook feed has been overflowing with Levon comments, links, and YouTube videos as his condition was well known and he was visiting with people until the end. Sad to see him go but he's done about as much as anyone can hope to do.
Yeah, he rules the comedy songs list, but as you notice, not the comedy albums list. It's usually 8 songs by him, Monty Python's "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life", and Adam Sandler's "The Chanukah Song".
