|Perhaps best known these days as director of Tommy, Altered States and The Devils.|
Often viewed as a controversial director due to liberal amount of sex and nudity in his pictures, especially those related to works of DH Lawrence.
My favorite film of his is my often-recommended for Hallowe'en picture Gothic, about the creation of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

|The first time I saw Gothic, it was half of a double feature with Lair of The White Worm. Both movies were insane and I still love both of them.
Forget it Josh... it's Cerebustown.
1. WHAT A CAST. 2. Keith Olbermann's on line two. 3. Reminds me more of SportsNight, Sorkin's other (and better) backstage show.
