WWE Hall of Famer Jack Brisco died, sad to say. He was 68.

One of the first guys to go from legit amateur wrestling to a pro career. I barely knew of him, except what I read in PWI when I was a kid. But he seemed like a class act all the way.

RIP!

I have only seen a couple of his matches, but all that I've read about him seemed like he was a real good guy, and a hell of a wrestler. RIP

I thought Gerald "Jerry" Brisco was running it?

It's been an awful year for the Brisco Brothers. I know Jerry has had recurring health problems including multiple strokes. There's never a good time to have a sibling pass away, but this certainly is a crappier one than most. Quite a sad thing.

Smackdown is still UPN's highest rated show. But remember, Nitro was still one of TNT's highest rated shows when AOL/Time Warner decided to cancel all wrestling programming.
