One of the people most responsible, aside from my father, for me loving sci-fi has died (msnbc.msn.com). Famous Monsters of Filmland was one of those must reads when I was a kid. Plus, the fact that he discovered Ray Bradbury just makes 4SJ even more important.

Ad Astra and Godspeed.

Man - that sucks. I found his Wheel of Time novels to be very entertaining, and will miss the story. In the greater scheme of things, though, I'm sure what he wrote doesn't matter as much as the people he touched in his life.
