I was just talking about how awful Madonna's cover of "Santa Baby" was this morning and wound looking up Wikipedia to see if Eartha Kitt was still alive. (She was, then.) That's a little creepy.

I just saw documentary on her like a day or so ago. I agree with the creepy part because I didn't know of her death.

best of '04 without a doubt. saw this one twice in the theatres and now bought the DVD. Carrey and Winslet both gave magnificent performances, and everything from the direction to the editing to the music was extremely well done.
