|If you know me, you know this is hitting me like the death of a favourite uncle. The version of If I Should Fall Behind where Clarence plays and sings was our wedding song, and I've been a devoted E Street disciple since the early 80s.|
When the stroke happened earlier in the week, I had a bad feeling about it. I knew at the very least that we would never see him live again. But when I heard the news tonight, it hurt pretty badly.

|Am I the only one who always got him confused with Clarence Carter? Odd too, as I am a pretty big Springsteen fan.

According to Yahoo (music.yahoo.com) Buck Owens has passed away. For people like me who are fans of traditional country, this is a real tragedy since he was far more than just the host of Hee Haw.
