Tragic. the Beastie Boys influenced so many people, even to this day.

I'll never forget seeing them live the week Licensed To Ill hit number one. It was such a revelation to see hip-hop fans, alternative fans, and metal fans at the same concert. That just didn't HAPPEN then.

By way of tribute, the Mets used all Beastie Boys songs as entrance music for their hitters tonight. Nice tribute to a New York legend.

Coldplay offered up a wonderful tribute last night during their show at the Hollywood Bowl.

On Monday, the Dodgers took the field to "No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn", which is cool on multiple levels.

I've been listening to way too much of "This Charming Man", and was curious as to what Johnny Marr played, guitar/effect-wise, back when the Smiths recorded that album. Well, Google was useless.
