| #21 Posted on 19.11.02 1454.56 | Back on topic... I kind of think Rico's outburst is indicative of a bigger problem. The matches have become way too formulaic and scripted! I mean, really, what was so important about THAT spot that it had to be done? Why couldn't Rico have improvized? He had a good start with the "I'm losing my balance.." He could have taken it the rest of the way and fell in an ugly matter, or given himself the turnbuvkle crotch shot, or hell, just done a move! Since when is a top rope elbow (save a certain top rope elbow) that devastating a move anymore? Screw ups are bound to happen... my question is, where was the improvosation? Then, when Jeff came to his senses, he could have improvised some more and taken Rico out of the equation, to get things back on track... Seems like that is a lot better than him yelling at Jeff from the top rope...

I'm not badmouthing the guy, I'm just saying he's risking being totally crippled within a year unless he gets his shit together.
In the WWE.com feature on the tables match from Survivor Series, it was mentioned that Jeff's stomach hurt badly after the match for two reasons: (1) Jamal splashed him on a table from the top turnbuckle (2) He didn't eat all day.
I realize he may have been nervous and couldn't keep anything down, but what kind of a whack job doesn't eat when he knows he will have to exert himself like crazy that night and will need his strength?
They should give him a personal trainer.

Probably a whack job so gone on pills that he has no appetite.

Seriously if half the stuff we're hearing about Jeff is true, it's time for him to get some help. It's not like he'll be tragically missed if he takes a few months off to get his head on straight.

I agree completely. This is the exact same thing a friend of mine and I were saying while watching the PPV last night. He didn't know what was going to happen or anything but the moment he saw/heard the spot and the yelling he was like 'damn, thats stupid by Rico..he should have just crotched himself'
I think that would have been the only solution btw as an elbow drop would have meant Bubba was eliminated as he was placed on a table :)
