Ricky Williams is discussing a comeback with the Miami Dolphins, coach Nick Saban said Thursday. Saban acknowledged holding recent discussions with Williams, whose sudden retirement stunned the Dolphins shortly before training camp began last season. He would not divulge specifics of the talks, but has long said that he was open to the prospect of Williams returning.
Let him sit. The Dolphins used their highest draft pick in a generation on a new running back, and with all Ricky's baggage and uncertainty he's not going to generate much in terms of a trade. Put me down for playing the spite card, let the man sit on the sidelines and struggle with his debt load.
The key is having John Welbourn back in the lineup at left guard. Last night there were a good amount of runs to the left side with Thomas and Welbourn just dominating the Giants Dline. That said, you have to give Reid a lot of credit.
