|  #1 Posted on 25.7.02 2113.43 | Well, what did you think of the big debut? The crowd seemed to be hot for Rey and the match was great (big ups to my man Chavo). It was a spotfest, certainly, but I felt like it told a coherent story. He's back to taking crazy bumps- the face first slide onto the floor looked very painful. And the dive from the top of the cage was great! So far so good. Hopefully Rey's big push won't mean the end of tv time for the other cruisers (big night for Kidman- watching the monitor with Steph).| Promote this thread! |           | m2k_2002

As for the loose pants, I'm willing to bet, as my friend pointed out, that they're hiding some nice big knee pads/braces, so I have no problem with them. I do think he should lose those damn contacts though.

The match I want to see now is Rey vs. Shannon Moore. It would be the bizzomb.A Tajiri feud would rock too. Of course he has to go after Jamiesan because Rey will be CW Champ within 6 weeks. Think they will team him with Kidman and bring back the CW tag belts seeing as TJ/Jamie are a team and Shannon/Hurricane are around? Chavo and Funaki as the other CW Rudos!

Actually, lucha tradition would just dictate that Rey would just get a new gimmick and a new mask, rather than putting back on the old mask.
And, as much as I don't like Tazz, he did a good job of putting over lucha, the mask, and Rey Misterio Sr. and Gory Guerrero.

Without it, Rey just reminds me of Master P. and all that went wrong with Nitro in the last 3 years. I was suprised Tazz brought up Rey Sr's feud with Gory Guerro(sp?). Rey has my favorite entrance since Gangrel. Rising through the floor = great entrance in my book.
I think Rey's contacts are kinda cool. They're weird, but they're different which is A O K.
I also haven't marked out like I did last night in a while. Rey's match with Chavo was great and his run in at the end was awesome too. I loved how he rocketed up the side of that cage, like the spider whose web he wore on his pants.
