Well, so who do you think will be the wildcard? I'm having trouble imagining anyone but Waltman -- not a horrible choice, but sure not very exciting.

Waltman does make the most sense out of the guys they have a I suppose. Did anything ever happen with the Raven quits storyline (or have they not had any tv since then?). What about Jerry Lynn? Would he be pushed that high up the card for his return?

They had one more TV show after Raven quit -- Raven abushed and ran down a cameraman in the parking garage, and then cut a promo into the supine cameraman's camera about how he was going to make Dusty's life a living hell until he got what he wanted. Given that, I think a Raven run-in is a lot more likely than an actual match.

Jerry Lynn would be pretty great -- the crowd would probably pop more than they would for Waltman, too. I dunno if he's ready to come back.

Is TNA doing any kind of house shows or angles at indy shows to build to the PPV? Or are they just rolling over and giving up until someone gives them a TV deal?

'Rolling over and giving up' is probably a bit too harsh, but kinda funny and nearly accurate. They're promoting the show and angles via their website, and thru their (barely) syndicated Xplosion show, but they've always done that; they're not doing anything extra ordinary to make up for what they're missing.

After this PPV, they will be having a TV taping, according to today's WO, which will air internationally, and may be shown on the internet. If something breaks between now and then with WGN or Spike or whoever, they'll surely bump it up to a bigger taping.

Jerry Lynn is making his return to the ring this Friday against Justin Credible at Hardcore Homecoming so he's ready to get back in the ring, whether TNA is going to use him right away I don't know, but it sure would be nice to see him at the anniversary show considering he's been there since the beginning.

I'm simply pointing out that while the common perception of Triple H is that he "never looks bad," there's legitimate evidence to the contrary.
