Somehow seems fit that the two leading wildcarders 20 years after 1984 are the Cubs and the vile Padres.
And I get to sit and watch Prior pitch spineless baseball in the first game of the crucial series...gaaah!
The 84 Cubs had a much better relief crew than the 04 team, and a veteran rotation...but the 04 lineup should produce more runs by a bit.
The 84 Padres had Kurt Bevacqua! What do the 04 Pads have?
Seriously, this is going to be fun and ulcer inducing.
