Have any of you heard of this one?

Retro Gamer Magazine (livepublishing.co.uk)

I found this new magazine at BORDERS last night and it's awesone. Each issue comes with a cdrom packed with old games and emulators.

Truely an awesome find.

Will the CD run on North American machines? If anyone's picked up the magazine, I'd love to read a review. Goodness knows, after the latest arcade emulations game from Midway, I have to wonder about quality nowadays.

Looks cool, old games still have a warm place in my heart... Ah times when games weren't as frightening and confusing.

smark/net attack wienerville advisory holds at ORANGE alert - High (JBL is STILL WWE champion and now smarks arch enemy HHH is the World Champion. Major red threat, but the undercard seems okay. The alert holds... for now)- 9/19

According to the website they offer US subscriptions for about $75 for 9 issues. That's crazy talk. I might pick up an issue at Borders and see what's like but no way subscribing.

There's a lot of UK magazines that I pick up sporadically (specifically design magazines), and with the conversion rate and shipping and all that, it's usually insanely expensive to subscribe (if they even offer it). Sucks, because the quality of some of those magazines far surpass anything over here.
