Ok, time out.
So the Lakers negotiating for Chris Paul and sending viable assets to New Orleans is WRONG...but the Celtics shipping the corpse of Jermaine O'Neal for David West is FAIR? WHAT THE HELL????

The NBA needs to find a buyer for this freakin' team. Or the controversy will only get worse. (Incidentally, trading away their valuable assets will make it harder to find a buyer for this freakin' team).

The Indiana Pacers agreed on a two-year, $20 million deal with free-agent forward David West.
The Hornets had been in discussions to send West to Boston in a sign-and-trade deal but NBA.com reported Sunday that those talks ended, which opened the door for Indiana to land West.
The reason for Boston not closing this deal is probably nothing out of the ordinary. But now the NBA's created an environment where it's perfectly reasonable to assume it's a damn conspiracy.

David West can come in and contribute right away and help us win, especially if his injuries are behind him.
