If rumours are to be believed and both Goldberg and Lesnar leave, who if anyone will likely replace them either from and alternative wrestling faction or someone from the past making a comeback?
Well Lesnar is a big loss as he was probably going to be a superstar for the rest of his career and is still so young, but it's going to open up an oppurtunity for somebody. I say Edge. Lesnar's leaving comes at the time when Edge is supposed to return. Now I think he should definitely return to Smackdown. He could even get a response from the fans by doing an interview on how Brock quit, like what the ROck did when Austin left. Angle, Eddie, and Edge feuding for the title, and even Cena later in the year could still keep the main event competitive, the only problem is the guys who used to be the good upper mid carders are now going to be depended on for the main eventers which leaves Smackdown without a good mid to upper card other than Mysterio, Haas, Benjamin.
As for Raw and Goldberg? It's not that big of a loss, they still have HBK, Benoit, Triple H, Jericho, Kane, RVD, Booker T, Christian, Matt, Lance, Hurricane, The Rock (when he's around) Orton, Flair, the women's division, I don't think they'll have a problem at all continuing how they are.
Now that I think about it, how did Raw get all the talent? They should think about shpping Lance, Val and Hurricane over to Smackdown, even if they never get the kind of push i'd like, they could atleast fill out the mid card and put on some entertaining matches. I also wouldn't mind seeing Christian on Smackdown just because the chances of him rising to main event on Smackdown is better than on Raw.
Dont worry about replacing Goldberg, he hasnt really done much since he got there, which is a shame, because he was starting to get interesting, but then the HHH match happened, and we all know what happens next.
And, Brock will be back, by October at the latest. I cant see him making it in the NFL, or NFL Europe for that matter. WHat position is he supposed to play anyhow?

Who says Edge can't play heel?
I think he meant that a heel is needed in the very near future. Edge's return, first of all, won't be coming right away due to injuries being healed and ring rust ebing taken care of. Secondly, Edge's return would probably be most impactful if he returned as a face, because he will be cheered initially anyway, and its a good idea to capitalize on the already present sentiment.
RVD going to SD to join up with Heyman would be the best bet, in my book. Big show can also step it up to ME, since he'll be losing the US Title (hopefully).

Actually, the first thing I thought about when I heard that Brock Lesnar leaving was a huge Sean O'Haire push. Keep in mind I'm a huge SeanO'holic, but the thought of it brings a smile to my face. I mean, he's big, he CAN cut decent promos, and by gawd, he's not A-Train. But then, as StaggerLee said, a big Sean O'Haire push would be close to a miracle.
But the idea of a SeanO'riffic Smackdown does sound good to me.

Now THAT would be reason enough to me personally to stop watching SmackDown! I think he should be released very soon, because he absolutely sucks! And I once liked the Steiners back in NWA/WCW!
He definitely sucks now. But I was thinking the old Poppa Pump would have been good to come in talking trash & then get fed to Undertaker. They need someone like that for Taker to feud with so they don't stick Angle with him.
Alright Brain, you don't like me, and I don't like you. But lets just do this, and I can get back to killing you with beer.
I think they should take Steiner out of the ring and let him do interviews. He's off the charts on the Unintentional Comedy Scale. I, for one, would love it. I'm probably the only one but it would be great.
At least some day maybe I'll understand why some day maybe you never can. Or something like that.
You are not the only one! I LOVE it when the Big Booty Daddy tries to cut a promo and sounds like Jake Roberts on a 4 day coke binge! Its great fun for the whole family!
Yeah it's like watching a car wreck. Remember his pro-war statement in the debate? Did anyone know what the fuck he was talking about? His promos rate up there with Ultimate Warrior as a guilty pleasure.

I think Kane could benefit with a jump to Smackdown ... since it appears that the Undertaker will remain on the SD roster and they may try to milk their feud for a while, it makes sense to move him.

Kane is my number one pick to jump. He’s a main-event heel, he’s already involved with Taker and has an easy story reason to jump, and he’s a big man who can actually wrestle and put on a good match when given the opportunity. The only real difference between his in-ring abilities and Brock’s is that Kane’s character, by its very nature, doesn’t need to sell for anyone. That’s actually the thing I’ll miss most about Brock – unlike other guys his size, he was actually willing and able to sell for smaller guys and make them look good in the process.
But if Kane jumps, that also opens the door for Booker or RVD to do a heel turn, which I think is needed for either of them right now.
i would definately love to see RVD and booker turn heel, ive been sick to death of watching them do the same things week in week out for god knows how long now

Is Kane still good though? I always thought he used to be great, but since unmasking he hasn't really been over and he hasn't had a good match.
As for Stiener, however morbid this is, I fear his death is imminent. He just looks really bad and I get a creepy vibe that he can't keep hauling all that weight around. Maybe he was one of the ones who didn't use coke, alcohol, and painkillers on top of the roids. But hearing him speak, I doubt that.
I'd tell you to kiss my ass, but I don't want to get it infected.

I'm not going to debate the "he hasn't had a good match" theory-his Shane series were watchable at the very best-but I'd say he's definitely over. If they moved him to SmackDown they totally reinvent him-new music, maybe some short tights, ease slowly away from the "totally unstoppable monster" vibe they've instilled in him. He'd still be a freka of nature capable of brutalising anyone, sure, but just with less of the crappy sub-two-minute squashes.
The difference between the HHH-mystery angle and the Rock promo was that the Rock promo was a one-shot deal. HHH took up something like 6 segments, just to climax with a too-long verbal spar with Shawn Michaels.
