Apparently, The E is hitting hard on parody Twitter accounts, because God forbid anyone should have some fun with this product.

So let's wish WWE Creative and Cranky Vince well in their future endeavors.

WWE Creative is back already, and there's a new CrankyVince too, although I'm not sure if it's run by the same guy or not.

They had to make a slight name chance, and mention that they are parody accounts, but other than that, the most entertaining parts of the WWE product are back on twitter.

While that's true of most gimmick Twitters, CrankyVince was sublime.

Parody is protected speech. Anyway, to the people in WWE that are in charge of going through and deleting all these accounts, I'm compelled to ask this question:

You (surprise, surprise!) are missing the point. Parody is one thing. Impersonation and trademark infringement are another. You can't just do whatever you want and yell out "Parody!" whenever someone doesn't like it. My guess is that there's quite a few "parody" accounts on Twitter that are more foul than fair.

Parody is protected by the government in public, but you still have to abide by twitter's rules, which state

This PWInsider article ( says WWE and Twitter are now in business together, which will allow WWE to send pictures, video, verify their people, and go after parody accounts.

WWE and Twitter isn't going away, it's only getting more involved.
