is the league publicly viewable? i'd like to see how your draft went.

http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/show?page=leaguehome&lid=11013 didn't do anything useful for me...

QB Brooks, Aaron (QB-NO)
WR Booker, Marty (WR-Chi)
WR Johnson, Keyshawn (WR-TB)
WR Chambers, Chris (WR-Mia)
RB Holmes, Priest (RB-KC)
RB Williams, Moe (RB-Min)
TE Graham, Daniel (TE-NE)
WR/RB Terrell, David (WR-Chi)
K Reed, Jeff (K-Pit)
DEF Buffalo (DEF-Buf)

Bench Bledsoe, Drew (QB-Buf)
Bench Johnson, Larry (RB-KC)
Bench Holcombe, Robert (RB-Ten)
Bench Robinson, Marcus (WR-Bal)
Bench Dayne, Ron (RB-NYG)
Bench Smith, Lamar (RB-GB)
Bench Martin, David (TE-GB)
Bench Minnesota (DEF-Min)

Not bad...there were no RB's left, but Minnesota's goal line vulture should pick up some points for me. Of course, I've got two starter-caliber QB's, so I should probably be able to swing a trade at some point.

same here. I was #1 in the draft, which meant I had the last pick in the second round, pick #40. so it was a toss up between Priest and either vick or mcnabb. I flipped a coin and QB won, so it was a tossup between the QBs, so I figured that Vick can only get better, so I grabbed him.

Alstott is a decent back, who an always be counted on to pound it in inside the 5, right?

You'd think...but he only had five rushing TD's and 2 receiving last year.

So how do you make out when you have the LAST pick in a 20 team league? Well, if you're me, kind of like this (* means probable starter):

Rd.1 (20) - Charlie Garner (RB) Oakland *
Rd.2 (21) - Corey Dillon (RB) Cincinatti *
Rd.3 (60) - Laveranues Coles (WR) Washington *
Rd.4 (61) - Trent Green (QB) Kansas City *
Rd.5 (100)- Doug Jolley (TE) Oakland *
Rd.6 (101)- Travis Taylor (WR) Baltimore *
Rd.7 (140)- Steve Smith (WR) Carolina *
Rd.8 (141)- Atlanta (DEF) *
Rd.9 (180)- Marc Boerigter (WR) Kansas City *
Rd.10(181)- Tim Couch (QB) Cleveland....oops
Rd.11(220)- Reggie Wayne (WR) Indianapolis
Rd.12(221)- Jacksonville (DEF)...they might start over ATL
Rd.13(260)- Hayden Epstein (K) Minnesota *
Rd.14(261)- Michael Wiley (RB) Dallad
Rd.15(300)- Desmond Clark (TE) Chicago
Rd.16(301)- Kelly Campbell (WR) Minnesota
Rd.17(340)- Kevin Lockett (WR) Jacksonville
Rd.18(341)- Maurice Morris (RB) Seattle

Other than my kicker being screwed up (meant to click on the Jets kicker, clicked the wrong name) and having Couch as my backup QB, I feel pretty good. Lots of bench guys who might become something this year which would be useful to have around.

Well since everyone else is putting up their teams for disection.

QB: Matt Hasselbeck, Sea
RB: Edgerrin James, Ind
RB: Jamal Lewis, Bal
WR: Amain Toomer, NYG
WR: D'Wayne Bates, Min
WR: Antonio Bryant, Dal
RB/WR: Correll Buckhalter, Phi
TE: Byron Chamberlain, Min; out 4 weeks substance abuse
K: Jason Hanson, Det
D: Oakland

B: Teyo Johnson TE Oak
B: Kerry Collins QB NYG
B: Dennis Northcutt WR Cle
B: Kevin Curtis WR Stl
B: Justin Fargas RB Oak
B: Quentin Griffin RB Den
B: Indianapolis D
B: Seatle D

Little week in the WR department but I got three starting RB's when some don't have any. Two solid QB's who both have the same bye week, stupid. Some real reaches with my last couple RB's picked, but some rookie has to run for 1000, injuries happen.

spf2119 has one of the stongest teams despite picking last. Rikidozen, picking first sucks in a league this big and now you lose the first pick, ouch. Just to add insult to injury, reports out of Pittsburgh have Bettis healthy and starting the season at #1.

Now you will receive us.
We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
We do not want your tired and sick.
It is your corrupt we claim.
It is your evil that will be sought by us.
With every breath, we shall hunt them down.
Each day we will spill their blood, 'til it rains down from the skies.
Do not kill. Do not rape. Do not steal. These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior, and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
There are varying degrees of evil. We urge you lesser forms of filth, not to push the bounds and cross over, in to true corruption, into our domain.
For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three, and on that day you will reap it.
And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

So how do you do when you forget the draft (even when there are reminders all over the place!), and let Yahoo do it (though I had at least pre-ranked a good number of players):

* denotes probable starter:
() players that have since replaced original draftee

Rd.1 - Marshall Faulk (RB) St. Louis *
Rd.2 - Joe Horn (WR) New Orleans *
Rd.3 - Kurt Warner (QB) St. Louis *
Rd.4 - James Stewart (RB) Detroit *
Rd.5 - Duce Staley (RB) Philadelphia * ...may soon be a Bear?
Rd.6 - Tim Brown (WR) Oakland*
Rd.7 - Ike Hilliard (WR) New York Giants *
Rd.8 - Matt Stover (K) Baltimore *
Rd.9 - Frank Wycheck (TE)Tennessee *
Rd.10 - Cleveland (DEF) *
Rd.11 - Michael Bennett (RB) Minnesota
Rd.12 - Chris Redman (QB) Baltimore
Rd.13 - Oronde Gadsen (WR) Miami
Rd.14 - Tony McGee (TE) Dallas (John Davis (TE) - Chi)
Rd.15 - Jose Cortez (K) Kansas City (Musa Smith (RB)-Bal)
Rd.16 - Brandon Bennett (RB) Cincinatti
Rd.17 - Tyrone Calico (WR) Tennessee
Rd.18 - Danny Kanell (QB) Denver (Dee Brown (RB)-Car)

This team has potential, if several guys revert back to form. In other words, this is an awesome team...2-3 years ago! But maybe some of these guys will have bounce back years (the St. Louis Rams regaining their 2 year ago form would be very helpful!). Had I actually shown up, I would have definately drafted Bulger to help cover the Warner pick (but who knows, maybe I wouldn't have drafted Warner in the first place)

We'll see how it goes.

Keep in mind I was either in or en route to Seattle during the draft, and thus sans comp or access. That and I hate Yahoo's pre-ranking system.

1. Fred Taylor (RB) [Jaguars] (...fuuuuuck.)
2. Trung Canidate (RB) [Redskins] (Maybe...)
3. Troy Hambrick (RB) [Cowboys] (...they ARE kidding me, right?)
4. Brad Johnson (QB) [Buccaneers]
5. Jerramy Stevens (TE) [Seahawks] (Does he even play?)
6. Jay Feely (K) [Falcons]
7. Kevin Johnson (WR) [Browns]
8. Bryan Gilmore (WR) [Cardinals] (Please tell me he's a highly-touted rookie...)
9. Ed McCaffrey (WR) [Broncos]
10. St. Louis (Def) [uhm... Rams...]
11. Kyle Brady (TE) [Jaguars] (...again?! And I have to COUNT on him?!)
12. Paul Edinger (K) [Bears]
13. Troy Edwards (WR) [Rams] (Didn't they cut him?)
14. Cedrick Wilson (WR) [49ers]
15. Justin McCareins (WR) [Titans]
16. Richie Anderson (RB) [Cowboys] (Bitch stole TD's from me the year I had Curtis Martin... now I get him where he'll NEVER score. -_-)
17. Jim Miller (QB) [Buccaneers]
18. Jason Dunn (TE) [Chiefs]

Good thing I went with the Doormats as my mascot... we may not see an 0-16 season in the NFL, but maybe 0-17 here?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I had the EIGHTH PICK. Nice way to fuck me in the ass, Yahoo. Make me THAT GUY in the league. -_-;;;

How do you do when your power goes out at 4PM and stays out throughout the draft...

Starters
--------
QB - S. McNair TEN
WR - D. Boston SD
WR - K. Robinson SEAT
WR - C. Johnson CIN
RB - L. Tomlinson SD
RB - A. Peterson CHI
TE - C. Lewis PHI
WR/RB - D. Stallworth NO
K - R. Longwell GB
DEF - Cowboys

Reserves
--------
QB - M Bulger STL
RB - L. Jordan NYJ
RB - D. Foster CAR
TE - E. Johnson SF
WR - M. Walker ARI
WR - T. Gaylor ATL
K - J. Tuthill JAC
DEF - Lions

Not bad, I think. If Peterson can take the starting RB job from A-Train, I may be putting a lot of hurt on people.

I have shuffled a little already. Got rid of Tuthill, Gaylor and Walker. Added another RB in Watson from Wash. Added another BU QB, R. Johnson from Wash. Hopefully Spurrier will keep changing like he did last year... Also
added another WR, taking Carter from the NYG, who is supposed to be their #3.

Should be an interesting year...

My draft was automatic also (this is what happens when you go to put a 2 year old to sleep, and fall asleep yourself!). Luckily, I had done some pre-ranking, just in case.

Starters:

QB - Jef Garcia (SF)(Let us all pray for his back)
WR - Marvin Harrison (IND)
WR - Donald Driver (GB)
WR - Rod Gardner(WAS)
RB - Michael Pittman (TB)(Provided he is not in jail)
RB - Travis Minor (MIA)
TE - Alge Crumpler (ATL)
WR/RB - Joey Galloway (DAL)
K - David Akers (PHI)
DEF - San Diego

Bench:

TE - Ricky Dudley (TB)
RB - Cory Schlesinger (DET)
WR - Deion Branch (NE)
WR - Freddie Mitchell (PHI)
WR - Shaun MacDonald (STL) (Waiver Pickup after draft)
QB- Doug Flutie (SD) (Waiver pcikup over AJ Freeley)
K - Doug O' Brien (NYJ)
DEF - Arizona (I already live here and have to endure watching them, isn't that punishment enough?)

Overall, not too bad, very strong on receivers, very weak on running backs, and a quaterback who has a bad back...

Oh, good. I also turned Miller into Dilfer and Dunn into... uhm... some other TE who scored three TD's last year.
