The only release here I really care about is Nick Patrick. The guy's a great ref, can actually be used in storylines if so needed....and, a release? What?

Well looks like the entire purpose of Deuce and Domino was to introduce Cherry to the wrestling world.

I love WWE spring cleaning (in the summer).

I'll miss Dirty Nick Patrick too but he had back surgery months ago and hasn't been seen since.

Yeah, he has always been a fun ref to watch for about the past 10 years. I just feel bad for him that for the most part, he's going to be remembered for that bullshit 'fast count' that really wasn't between Sting & Hogan at Starcade.

I'm a bit surprised at Big Daddy V, just because like with Mark Henry and the Great Khali, the WWE seemed intent to keep shoving him down our throats until they got over. I knew he had weight issues, but I thought he was safe for the most part.

The rest aren't a big deal to me. Never cared for Domino or Moore. Nunzio was fun to watch, but they never did anything significant with him. And Curtis is a total jobber, as far as I remember.

I say bummer about Shannon Moore. He is actually a good worker, an excellent jobber, & works hard when he's out there. He'll probably be happier actually getting to work in TNA though.

Viscera? Finally!!! Praise be!!

Figures they'd release this on a Friday, and the same day as the beginning of the Olympics, to bury it in the news. They knew all the heat they would take for releasing Big Daddy V.

That could be a fun shoot interview.

Spring cleaning is always different from a real shitcanning. Notice they didn't combine this with Ric Flair over the weekend, or even with Braden Walker.

Wasn't Big Daddy V off of tv because he was too fat again? I actually enjoyed his last push. He should Awesome Kong the TNA men's division.

See! James Curtis totally should've got hurt, they would've let him stick around longer.

That didn't seem to go too well last time, if I recall right. I sure liked the Redneck & the Reject more than WWE seemed to - perhaps things would be different if Yang didn't get suspended?

What did all this save the company? Maybe Big Daddy V was doing good because they were using him more than the rest, but the rest couldn't have been getting more than $100K a year (seems to be the minimum, before expenses), probably less for Curtis. Maybe they save $700,000 in total, though they give some of that back when they bring up whomever from developmental to take a couple of those spots (or maybe they'll just use more local per night talent instead?)

or those salaries go into the "make back some of the money that Vince gave away" fund.

I have been obcessed with the computer game EWD lately, so I have to say about 40. I have 48 on my active roster and, to be honest, I only use about 25-30 of them in any stretch (about two weeks or so).
