| #1 Posted on 18.3.02 1320.16 | That was quite possibly the nastiest looking suplex I've ever seen.
Is there an actual name for that move?
Q: If you could have interviewed Marvin Gaye, where would you have proposed to meet and what would you have asked him?
A: I would have met anywhere as long as it was before his father shot him. I would have asked him, "Hey, don't you think there's some chance that your father might shoot you? To death, I mean?"

RVD's selling of the move is what made it look so nasty too. I dont know how he can still walk after landing on the back of his neck like that so many times.

| #10 Posted on 19.3.02 0011.04 | Nope, it was the Half-Nelson, which is also found on No Mercy, and is really fun to do because your opponent flips over backwards twice after you do it to him

| #12 Posted on 19.3.02 0246.46 | Instant Rating: 5.01 | I believe it could be classified as a half-nelson belly-to-back suplex. But I think he should create his own name for that move and use it more frequently, because that suplex was vicious-looking! Very, very Japanese.

Kenta Kobashi does it, and the japanese name translates to (get ready for it...)
"half nelson suplex"
Regal's all about the All Japan moveset these days, throwing around Tiger Drivers and now head droppy suplexes. He should definitely crib the Fuchi stretch muffler.
As for him using it on a regular basis...well, unless Benoit and Geurerro re-appear, I think that's an RVD-only spot. As in RVD's the only one who'll take it.

Other All Japan moves Regal should crib:

I think all of Kobashi's moves should still be property of Val Venis. There was an interview somewhere where he said his dream is to wrestle in a tag with Kobashi. Better hurry, Sean, before it's too late.
