I don't know if there are any of these stores other than the one near me but there is a store that I live near called half-priced books. They don't just sell books there but they sell cd's DVD's videos album's videogames and magazines. You can also trade all of those things in. So when I was there the other day I picked up a WM 14 highlight tape for 1$!!! The tape is only a half hour long and shows highlights of 15 team battle Royal, Dumpster match, HHH vs. Owen, Taker vs. Kane, and HBK vs. Stone Cold. It shows about 5 minutes of each match and 5 minutes of previews. It was well worth it and I'll buy any WWE tape for 1$. Others I've bought in the past
Stonecold What!.......1$ Ric Flair WCW tape....1$ Three faces of Foley..1$ Taker this is my Yard.1$ TLC...................4$ D-X...................3$ WM XIV................1$ They also have WWE Action and EVE of Destruction for 4$ each. Anyone know what's on these. If anyone has one of these stores near them, I highly reccomend going there.
Action is pretty similar, only looking at the first half of 2001. (The heel Stone Cold run, the Spike/Molly Romeo and Juliet storyline, the early, good days of the WCW/ECW Invasion *and* it contains, pretty much in it's entirety, Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko's double date which was *way* funnier than you remember it.)
"Tonight, we have an important message for those who question the patriotism of Americans who offer a better direction for our country. Before wrapping themselves in the flag and shutting their eyes and ears to the truth, they should remember what America is really all about. They should remember the great idea of freedom for which so many have given their lives. Our purpose now is to reclaim democracy itself. We are here to affirm that when Americans stand up and speak their minds and say America can do better, that is not a challenge to patriotism; it is the heart and soul of patriotism." ---John Kerry
If we are discussing cheap DVD's, came across what was 4 for $11 for Austin/Foley World Class/USWA/Global, and Booker T (Global) along with Hennig/Bockwinkle (AWA '87), Lawler/JYD ('89 USWA), Orton Jr./Neidhart, Boogie Woogie Man/Eddie Gilbert and Freebirds vs. Williams/DiBiase (Mid South). No extras, and only an hour each, but for what amounts to $2.75 a piece, not bad at Walmart.
The fact the he did/may/could've/should've threaten management is irrelevant...the guy sucked. He sucked so bad, they actually booked him to look like he sucked to explain away the fact that he sucked.
