I don't know how many more of these I can do Yom Kippur is over and I'm kind of done atoneing for sins and all.
TKG:-JR calling it a variation on a bulldog kind of worked for me.
PAS:-Shane Helms is a guy who knows how to work tag matches. Heidienriech is the worlds worst Mike Maverick, but this was perfectly fine tag team wrestling. Dupree lands one amusing bump a show.
TKG:-Wow was that Cade/Jindrack match mediocre. Jindrack had nice clotheslines and dropkicks. Flair was super mailed in as he was even mailed in for current mailed in Flair...in north Carolina no less. Maven super blows the finish and this was a nothing mailed in match. But on tonights show thats the best you can get.
TKG:-The non cage parts of the Jericho vs. RVD match worked for me, not as good as Joey Mathews vs. Ultimo but neither of these guys is as good as Mathews or Ultimo. The cage section also was good I really liked the beat down in the end. Unfortunately RVD isnít as good on mic as Tommy Rich so I donít expect him to complain to Coach John Heath next week to have Superstar kicked out of Georgia.
PAS:-Chris Jericho finely doesnít have the worst match on the show. He takes some nice bumps in the cage match, and the non cage thing was perfectly fine mediocre WAR Jr. Heavyweight wrestling, with RVD being a decent approximation of Thunderbird Brett Como.
PAS:-The finish was pretty great and the right way to build a Survivor Series.
What Didnít Work-
TKG:-Is DDP teaching acting to the Divas or something. Wow those backstage segments were badly acted. It was like watching DDP in a sports bra emoting at DDP in a lace bra.
TKG:-Rico stinks. Iíve seen alot of Adrian Street. He could actually wrestle. The Rico vs. Booker T match went on forever and was all Rico on offense until Booker hits his finisher. Forget Streete, Miss Linda vs. Sweet Georgia Brown was better than this.
TKG:-I think Mark Henry and Lance Storm have a good match in them. Storm is really great at taking a choke slam and is good in the bumping role. This couldíve been the best match on the show if they hadnít cut it short.
TKG-The Shane Helms sections of the tag match against La Resistance worked for me. And Iím learning to dig Dupree and Conway. Heidenrich comes in and boy he looks not ready for TV. Sub-Big Dick Dudley power offense. Absolutely shitty. I hope that wasnít Snowdenís troop popping for the Heidenrich throws.
PAS:-Did Test actually used to fuck Stephanie? That really felt like Helmseley fucking over his new wifes ex. Is Accliam worried about the Backyard Wrestling game? Is that why they keep putting on these Shane matches?
TKG-Holy fuck is Shane O Mac useless. When the one legged guyís offense is so much better than yours that Iím begging for him to get back on offense.. youríe in trouble.
PAS:-Good god this show is full of oiled roid guys with short hair, the whole thing has the look of an American Male catalogue. They really need some fat guys or some ugly guys, cause this whole show looks like a Fire Island bubble party.
PAS:-The Womanís match was okay but a real step down from the show stealers from previous weeks. This really shows how much they need Molly to hold the things together. I liked her Rizzo Beauty School dropout look. I think Becky Bayless and Valentina would make a great pair of Pink Ladies
Ah, That's fucking awful. Then again have you seen Nathan Jones?
PAS:-Good god this show is full of oiled roid guys with short hair, the whole thing has the look of an American Male catalogue. They really need some fat guys or some ugly guys, cause this whole show looks like a Firre Island bubble party.
Holycrap, you're so freakin' right. Now that I think of it wrestling is way low on the fat guy quota. When Hogan was around there was always three or four big fat guys trying to Avalanche him at any given time. Then again with the American Male catalogue thing going maybe you need to swab shows with a man who is into that sorta thing ... DEAN comes to mind
The comments are in the Youtube video linked in the first post. In short, Flair has a lot of praise for him and says he might be the greatest performer around today, though he's not the greatest 'worker'.
