Hey how come Michaels mentioned his back injury and his recent leg injury but failed to mention the injury where Kane put him out of wrestling for a couple months?

Hey and if you dig these here reports at DVDVR we recently put out two road reports:

a Road Report from the 10/2 ROPH show
http://board.deathvalleydriver.com/index.php?showtopic=22153

and one about a Raleigh Lucha show on 6/18 done by me with Raven Mack that was written a long time ago while I was experiencing a near midlife crisis or something. This reads alot better than I thought it would at the time I wrote most of it. And its also fun to read the back and forth conversational writing style between me and Raven as never done one of these with him before:

But on to tonights show

WHAT WORKED:

TKG: Cool. Joey Pantoliano is the new RAW GM. Hopefully this will lead to Lawler getting the title to please Eugene and his idiot cousin.

TKG: Damn that was a crazy bump. Jerry Estrada watched that bump and said "not enough drugs in the world". I normally don't like the WWE 11 minute maches where the wrestlers sell fatigue like its been an hour long match. I absolutely hate the WWE 5 minute matches with an hours worth of selling. But here the fatigue made sense within context of big bumps. Best TNA Impact main event 11 minute match with four minutes of commercial.

PAS: This really felt like a 1998 Super 8 final, but a really good one. It feels if we saw this Super 8 final, we would put Benjamin way too high on the DVDVR 500 and there would be an internet backlash against him. I especially liked the counters at the end, and I hate counters at the end.

PAS: I was really amused at Ross pimping Benjamins athletic background. He claims he is 6'2 240 and ran a 4.2 40 yard dash. If that is all true it really makes him look like a failure to be stuck wrestling.

TKG: Cool it's Mark Henry and Lance Cade. Those two guys are really good in the ring and on the mic. Nice to see them again. Why aren't they killing ten minutes of the show talking about their love of the business?

TKG: Rick Michaels rules. that Flair robe is unreal.

TKG: This is longest singles match Flair I've seen in a long time. And this was pretty much a straight Flair match. Orton's punches have gotten alot better and he makes a fine poor mans Kevin White at this point.

PAS: Flair takes three high backdrops, gets tossed off the top rope and gets suplexed on the floor, and no one even watches Jimmy Kimmell. Thank god Conan didn't make a joke about Flair, I really don't need to see Flair going head first off of the Titantron.

WHAT DIDN'T WORK:

TKG: I didn't buy the PPV, don't make me have to watch the match. This reminded me of that Nitro after Halloween Havoc where they showed me the full DDP vs. Goldberg match again for free. Unfortunately nothing on Taboo Tuesday as good as that, so they're forced to show me this. Was amused that editing decided to add sound effects to Bischoff's kick. Disappointed that they didn't add Batman balloons "CWACK!", "BAM!"

TKG: STOP SELLING THE PPV!!! It was last week. Its too late. No one is still buying the replay. By the end of the first hour, the "fans voting changed the way we do business here" was more tired than "ruthless aggression".

TKG: Two matches in two hours. What the fuck?

TKG: God damn was that the worst Tommy Dreamer speech I've seen in ages. For a guy who "does it for the fans", it must suck that he doesn't draw any of those fans.

TKG: I guess Batista vs. Maven would have been ok if Maven was any good at eating stuff or bumping, but he isn't. Than at the end they put him over. WHAT??? god how insecure is HHH/Michaels. Maven really is the face you push when your top face is out and is afraid of any face that might actually get over. Really putting Maven on the Monday show kills the whole tough enough segment on Thursday "hey don't get attached to these guys cause two years later the winner will still stink". Batista vs. Linda Miles would have been better match and they fired her.

PAS: Maven is the worlds shittiest Rocky King in this worlds shittiest version of Dudes With Attitudes.

TKG: Benoit is really amusing guy to book in the El Gigante role.

TKG: Hey remember when Regal was getting over? Remember when it looked like he might be in six mans as the other face with Jericho and Benoit? Instead Regal's getting squashed by Al Poling. Meanwhile Maven is put in the the six man which makes Benoit and Jericho look like Mike Jackson and Tony Zane respectively.

PAS: Fuck all of you stupid bitches and your little Snitisky crap. I blame all of you dickless motherfuckers.

Wasn't that Nowinski and not Cade? (DISCLAIMER: I may not have been paying attention either)

Ahahahahahaha priceless. After a month of seeing catchy phrase and misspelling HAIL SNITSKEY all over posts in this very forum, I'm lovin' it.

They both were in the segment, along with Mark Henry.

The important question: Will Benoit be defending the Alabama Jr. Heavyweight Title on the PPV, or will one of the most prestigious titles in wrestling history be relegated to Heat?

Abandon Ship. Abandon Ship. Forget the women and children, get me a lifeboat.

Meltzer has noted RVD's having Bret at his comic shop (pre-existing commitement, RVD picked the date), that'd it would start rumors about Bret appearing on WM, and that Bret would not be appearing at WM.
