Is it me or did they totally switch around the style of Raw and Smackdown. When the split happened everyone agreed that Raw was the place where the new talent could shine while Smackdown was laden with main eventers. Now Raw has HHH, Taker, Jericho, Flair and Shawn Michaels as true main eventers and Book, Goldust, RVD, Un-Americans (due to the heat of their current story) close behind.
Then they have some midcarders who are inter changeable or fight for the hardcore title. Oh, and the women division which might have been killed past monday, according to many
Smackdown basically only has Kurt Angle as proven main eventer. Rocky doesn't count as currently he is champion and soon to disappear. Lesnar might replace him as champ so he doesn't count either, plus he is not yet a main eventer, just scheduled to be one.
Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Edge are all about to break through and be in a main event any given night but officially aren't main eventers yet. Hogan is out for now.
Then you have a bunch of average midcarders who can exchange wins and positions constantly which include some guys who just could be built to be big stars.
And least but certainly not least there are the cruiserweights. The fact that Hurricane, Shannon Moore and Matt Hardy are in a storyline tells me they are giving more time to the CW division as until now it seemed like only two Cruisers could be promoted/pushed at the same time. (kidman-tajiri then hurricane-noble, then kidman-noble) So besides these three, we have Noble doing his thing as well as Rey and Chavo showing up more often, etc etc.
So..Smackdown seems to be the show with the up and coming roster right now, while Raw is the show with the big main eventers eyeing one another suspiciously..

I agree with above. Un-Americans HAD heat, they no longer seem to have it.
As for Rey, I would actually put him in league with Edge, Eddyu and Benoit. He's feuding with Angle in a higher profile match on the card than either Eddy or Edge.
RAW is a bit more the edge of your seat ride than Smackdown is. I think it's due to the live factor (as in performance and the "don't screw up on live tv" mantality RAW has)and the fact that you can't spoil a RAW. RAW is the money show where generally the big surprises happen first. I still support both adamantly, but condsider myself more a Smackdown fan, but am more ENTERTAINED by the antics on RAW (most of the time, but I look more forward to Smackdown's matches).
EDIT: I wish I knew which one was named Jamal and which one was named Rosie, so I could point and laugh at the one named Rosie.
(edited by WhoBettahThanDeion on 21.8.02 0943) The REAL question is, "Who Bettah Than Cory Dillon"!?
The Samoan drop into a small package reversal could not have been done better. It was perfect. And nice job by The Bully Ryback to sell the leg kicks in the first minute of their match. Immediately, Bryan looked like he had a chance.
