They can just feud over #1 contender shots instead. It adds more prestige to the belt when people aren't just fighting over the belt, but fighting to be the guy fighting over the belt. Like it's important or something.

And hey, maybe a few of them could feud over the FRIKKIN' TAG TEAM BELTS INSTEAD. (I'm looking at you, Cena and Test.)

The thing that confounds me is why they continue to misuse Kane. He has been gone for weeks. They play up the new pyro, give him a new mask, he comes out to make the monster save- AND THEN DOES THE KANEROONIE???!! WHAT THE FUCK? So much for the unstoppable monster. Gewertz must be fired immediately.

Hardly. The infamous Gayda match wasn't _supposed_ to be terrible -- this was. I hold the likes of Garcia and Finkel to a much lower standard than I do people who are touted as being trained wrestlers.

Calm down, fella. If you remember before his injury, Kane was playing about with his Kanenites and Hogan impressions and he was getting great reactions from the fans. I'd like to see a new Kane rather than the same ol', same ol'.

Regarding a recent thread in another forum I have to ask: is this what's known as "wrestling slash".

I thought the Kane-aroonie was completely unnecessary. Kane had already received the biggest pop of the night. He was way over with the fans. He didn't need to do that to get over. It just makes him that much less of a "bad-ass".

I thought Raw was pretty bad last night. Could they have made Lesnar look like more of a bitch? I thought the guy was supposed to be some sort of unstoppable monster. He lets HHH interrupt his opening promo, his first as champ. He runs from the ring in a 2-on-1 situation in his favor? He interferes in the main event with a freaking belt shot? Why not use the F5, and get him over as a monster, someone who doesn't need cheap heel tactics to defeat an opponent? Last night, Lesnar looked about as threatening as Christian.

Jericho/Jeff Hardy: Hardy looked like he'd rather be at the dentist. I'm speculating that Jericho had to keep singing "New York, New York" because they had to convince Hardy to go out there. And, really, what good did the finish of that match do? And where the hell was Flair?

The rest of the matches were complete snoozers, with the except of RVD/Dreamer. At least we're (hopefully) done with the Lillian/Fink nonsense.

I have to admit: I'm a Rosie and Jamal mark. I'd like to see Bischoff send them to Smackdown to wreak havoc a couple of times, and then put them in the tag division immediately. They need to get those guys away from the cheap heel stuff, establish them as badasses and have them rip through the tag division (well, what there is of a tag division). I think those guys could be over huge.

Overall, Raw was crap-tacular. I seriously hope they rebound in the next couple of weeks, or MNF will be getting my attention instead.

Make it 2 awful Raw's in a row.

Good stuff:
--Jericho - PURE GOLD~! in everything he did tonight
--RVD/Dreamer - match of the night (which isn't saying much)
--3 Minutes - still hasn't gotten old yet (to me, anyway)

Bad Stuff (pretty much everything else):
--Finkel/Garcia
--making Lesnar, who is the new champ & was finally getting a reaction at SS, look like a complete BITCH
--Dudleyz win & get their heat back post-match? WTF?
--main-event snoozefest
--Kanearoonie - I don't like Kane to begin with, but to hype him up as a bad-ass w/ the video packages and then have him do a Spinaroonie? Lame, lame, lame.

Overall:
--Horrible, horrible follow-up to a very good PPV. Way to shoot yourselves in the foot, WWE.

And once again, Smackdown will produce the better show this week.

In regards to the "did Jericho wear the belt" question, the answer is He came out with both titles on his arms...and i believe he did wear the single belt around the waist yes.

I agree that they totally killed any bad-ass vibe Kane might have with that "Kane-a-roonie"...it just killed him.

Snuka should NOT have been taken out..those two should have turned against Bischoff right then out of respect for him.

I'm not a Triple HHH hater. I don't care what he does behind the scenes, or who he "holds down". That being said, I have to say: his promo about how Brock "owes" him was a bad idea. It made Brock look weak, in that he only defeated an injured Rock. I would have loved it if Brock had said, in reply to HHH's remarks, "You got busted open and almost beaten by a guy who hasn't wrestled in four years. If you want this belt, come and get it." HHH looked to me that he wasn't paying Brock the proper respect. I expected him to do something after what he said on RAW last week, but still..it just looked bad to me. The fact that Brock backed off also contributed to his air of weakness. He should have talked back to HHH.

Triple H is a dead ringer for "Buzzer" of the Dreadnoks. Just give him some mirror shades and teach him to say "Blimey, Zartan".

He's taking away all the cool bad ass gear that was getting him face pops during the peak of his heel run of course... not that anyone has really noticed due to the overwhelming HHHatred that abounds lately...

When the highlights of the night are the Kanearoonie and the last ECW match ever, it is not the best of shows. Lesnar gets punked out twice, Molly gets eaten out by Spike (not necessarily a bad thing, but stil...), and the Anti-Americans were about to burn the flag. THIS is how you treat your champions? Rock got out just in time.

"Business has just picked up" says JR. Then right on cue, Molly enters the arena! Never was JR any better in introducing someone. --Raw 7/15

amen to that

Wasn't that the perfect time for the Monster Heel Champ with the Crafty Evil Manager to say SOMETHING???

The champ's supposed to say "You think we OWE you? We USED you." Sneering all the while. Then the manager dismisses Hunter with an exit line that refers to his ex-wife.

you know .... SOMETHING other than HHH going over everything in sight

HHH DID get beaten by a guy who hadn't wrestled in four years.

BTW, Why is Rosie the one with black hair, when Jamal has red hair?

One thing I haven't seen anyone else mention from RAW...

Was that Bradshaw standing next to the Rock in NYC when they made that appearance with Governor Pataki? Bradshaw in the tie and short-sleeved middle-management shirt? Man, he looked like such a geek...like he belonged in the movie Office Space.

I knew RAW didn't do it for me, when after the show went off all I could think about was playing Tekken 4 and Stephanie's titties.

I got to admit, they looked good in pink!

Another alright show this week, due due a focus on the in-ring stuff and a lack of illogical, boneheaded angles. Hooray! Scott Steiner vs. Homicide vs. Devon: This is a preview of the 3-way Tag Title match at Sacrifice.
