I like Orton's theme music. It takes a little bit to get used to, but it's better, im my eyes, than Maven's. Now, if someone needs new theme music, it is Maven. He needs something a little more heel-like, I guess.
I also think that Flair put out a good match with Orton. I don't know if I liked the ending of it, though. Who can stand after all those chair shots? Is Orton channelling the spirit of Foley with that?
I'm hoping that they book Batista to win the Rumble.
I've seen the following movies so far this year: Coach CarterCheck out my website
Batista got several laughs out of me on Monday night, but I thought that his funniest line was his casual, "It's OK. I'll beat 'em both" when Bischoff hesitated to make the La Res vs. Batista qualifying match. And I chuckled again when he replied "Really?" to La Res's threat. As if he found that highly amusing. But he didn't laugh or anything. Calm and reasonable can be funnier than hell!
Six-man tag-team match was spectacular, but what's Benoit's angle going into the Rumble? Who's he feuding with? Unfortunately, it looks like Benoit's chances of repeating as Royal Rumble winner are practically zero. Then again, I didn't think he'd win it the first time, so they might surprise me, who knows?
But if Benoit doesn't win it, I wouldn't at all mind seeing them give the win to Batista, which it looks like they're going for right now.
Possible Royal Rumble winners who wouldn't piss me off by winning: Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Batista, Edge, Booker T, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, Shelton Benjamin and Ric Flair.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Christian, The Hurricane, Kane and Shawn Michaels, too. But the first two aren't anywhere close to being ready to main-event WrestleMania. Kane winning the Royal Rumble means guaranteed bad storylines heading into WrestleMania. And Shawn Michaels has already won it twice, main-evented last year, and someone else deserves it instead, in my opinion.

also relevant, you can see Herb Kunze slowly lose his patience with the direction that the WWF went in back in the late '90s. Also, the podcast Joe vs The World has some really good retrospectives of WWF for 1990 through 1992.
