Jericho also hit THE GREATEST CODEBREAKER EVER on Kofi Kingston, followed by a classic Lion Tamer. Instantly forgotten among the hoopla of the 3 hour and 15 minute RAW.

Crack reporting on whether the Beth Phoenix injury is legit by the Observer (f4wonline.com)

"Her injury is reportedly legit, although she was dropping the title anyway, and wwe.com is saying it's legit, but if it's a work, they'd be playing it up on Twitter, and Beth Phoenix mentioned it on Twitter, so it could be legit."

Didn't that "12 hours" rule stop Regal's King of the Ring push? I think he showed up buzzed, and got de-pushed.

Regal was cracked for a steroid, but it stopped Serena's push. And, roundaboutedly, Tiffany's.

Which Cole called a Lionsault because he's a big dummy.

Mark bought him a wig, but it got split somehow.

But there's fun stuff to be done with Heyman and Sable too even if it's just as a one-off.

At least with Heyman there's an established history of him being involved with Lesnar outside of the pro wrestling realm. He worked with him on his book, he's been seen with him at UFC events. There's enough history with them outside of WWE that they could present Heyman as something different than any other manager.

I was actually thinking that it'd be good story-wise to bring Heyman back ... only to have him be quickly destroyed by Brock. He said it last night -- he's not the same naive farmboy that was around eight years ago. He doesn't need someone like Paul Heyman to take part of his money any more. It'd get a ton of heat and really hammer home that Brock is only around to kick ass and pad his wallet.

It's weird that Khali singing happy birthday felt slightly menacing like when Punk sang happy birthday to Mysterio's daughter.

Everything except the last segment was pretty poor. And in that last segment, Lesnar showed why he shouldn't be given a mic for very long.

But holy shit, Lesnar came off as the biggest deal in the world. His physical charisma is off the charts, up there with Austin where you know what exactly this guy is all about just by the way he moves and carries himself. Cena's bit at the end was well done, and I really liked how he wrapped the chain around his hand, and then Brock mocked him with his own fist, which was basically the size of Cena's chain-wrapped one.

This match has got to end somehow with Cena getting stretchered out, right?

I can't wait for Punk/Jericho and Bryan/Sheamus to be over. If either of them continues after this next PPV, I'm going to be mildly upset!

I loved Brock leaning back in his chair, putting up his dukes, and then kissing each fist.

Ditto for Punk vs. Jericho, which I never would have guessed I'd have thought 6 weeks ago. CM Drunk is just not an angle I'm interested in. Bryan and Sheamus I can't pass judgment on since they've yet to actually have a real match.

If they are intent on keeping Bryan heel, at Extreme Rules they may want to think about Bryan resorting to pulling the ref in front of himself just as Sheamus is hitting him, and then rolling out of the ring to get a mic to call out Johnny Ace to fire Sheamus on the spot. If they really want to get cute, they can do it right at the beginning of the match, say right at the opening lock-up (they wouldn't, but Bryan turning around the "18 seconds" on Sheamus would be awesome). Bryan becomes champ, Sheamus can build up some sympathy & momentum as the screwed face, and they can pay it off with COO HHH reinstating Sheamus to get his revenge on Bryan.

You've got to love WWE for going through the 'generic heel playbook' page, by page, with Lesnar. Next week I fully expect him to be insulting local football teams.

Had to laugh at the 'yes' chants right after he threw Matthews. Seriously, that's about as likely to draw heat as Lesnar coming out and beating the shit out of Justin Roberts.

Exactly, having Heyman come back and support Lesnar is likely to get people behind Lesnar, as Heyman is too much of a legend in the fans eyes now to work as a heel, and a return would only add to the nostalgia factor that is keeping a fair chunk of the fanbase from booing Lesnar.

I'm looking forward to Monday so hard.

Monday Night RAW : Starring Brock Lesnar

Instead of "Burn it to the Ground" they're just gonna play Brock's entrance theme and footage of Brock f5'ing people... also John Cena bleeding out of his mouth cause you can't have an opening sequence without Cena.
