I could buy Rock being a surprise entry if Cena's actual participation in the Rumble had been more of a highlighted issue, rather than his match with Kane. Cena might not even be in the RR for all we know; technically, he shouldn't be, given that he already has a match set for Mania (though Cena has a history of winning the Rumble and taking his title shot at the February PPV).
"It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
After finally catching up on the tape, I think all I can add is that I wonder if HHH coming back into the Punk/Ace storyline at this stage is leading him away from an Undertaker rematch. As Cena is obviously otherwise occupied, is this push leading to Kane as this years' Taker victim?

We can do this. We don't even need a reason.
And for good measure, as it came up in conversation..
So, so stoic. Like he was going down on the Titanic to the strains of "Nearer My God to Thee".

Hell, he carried 50-60 year old Ric Flair to a good match! I don't EVER want to see it suggested again that Flair is unable to hold his own in the ring....
