Is there any chance Morrison makes a surprise return at the Rumble? I want it to happen just to see his slo-mo intro with Jericho in the background (still not having gotten in the ring), blinkin' jacket going in slow motion behind him. Of course, with the way his luck goes, Morrison would return and have a mishap on his very first elimination spot after nailing them all last year.
I will wait to see how it plays out, but HHH returning to be the guy who gets to send Ace packing instead of Punk has the potential for more of the same problems from this past fall.

I have come around on Clay in a big way. He was hyped as a dominant heel, but threw us for a loop by being a dominant face instead. Either way, nice to see someone fresh getting a decent push, 80s style no less. I am assuming Jericho is alluding to the "Best in the World" moniker.

Nice!
Seems like he's participating in some nonviolent action? I wonder if he'll be saying next week that he "could" have gotten out of it and taken down Punk, but he "let" himself be taken down as a penance or something, or so he wouldn't have to hurt a WWE Superstar. I hate to think that that's actually the way he was trying to sell "oh shit, I'm about to get got."

That's a good point about Miz possibly getting a decent run in the Rumble, but why does a guy come off a failed drug test get such a nice push?

As for RAW, the newz sites are reporting they wanted Ryder off of TV for a bit, and this is how they accomplished it.
Lawler is still golden on commentary, and at least he's trying to build people up through what he's saying.

She's not only one of the worst acting divas ever, but she's also one of the least over divas ever. She has been employed 4-5 years and never gotten any real reaction. I remember when she won the divas title and not one fan popped.

I had no idea who see was. I like Ryder from his Interent show but teaming him with Eve is like the kiss of death. I had the "who farted" face the entire time she was on screen trying to act like the concerned girlfriend and accussing Cena. She seemed to miss her timing by a good 3 seconds. At one point, I wanted Cena to just FU her and send her to the hospital on a stretcher with Ryder.
Seeing her makes me miss Trish more and more.

Unless ... he's given one opportunity to save his job, and that's to do the one-on-one match he promised fans last (this) week. If he wins, he keeps his job. If not, he's FIIIIIIIRRRRRRRR'DDDD!!
That said, he's pretty much gone, right? Would they bring this up without it taking place? So what are the bets on the next GM? | Big Bad

That was EXACTLY what I thought when he started it. he almost, ALMOST, had a bit of Kane's snarly-kinda side-lipped smile.
